Williams is a very deserving stock-riser on this rankings update. If you’ve ever watched her on the glass, you know exactly why she moved up. Williams is just relentless when a shot comes off the rim. She chases after it and rebounds the ball high. Williams has strong hands and is bouncy under the rim. She does an excellent job of turning rebounds into points with put backs.

Williams was excellent in Dakota’s win against Grosse Pointe South. She was active and bouncy under the rim, seemingly playing over top of her opponents. Williams put her work in early when attacking the glass by establishing position as soon as the shot was released. Her prolific rebounding effort in the game put a big limit on GPS possessions, making 1 shot and done on most occasions. Williams showed a knack for earning high percentage looks at the rim. She had multiple put back buckets and did a nice job finding space and giving her guards a passing option. Williams was solid on the defensive end where she did a very nice job walling up and altering or deterring shots in the paint.

Williams left her mark in an excellent Dakota win against Grosse Point South. She was able to dominate the paint and the glass in the game. Williams scored 12 points and pulled down 20 rebounds. She’s proving to be one of the better rebounders you’ll see this season.

Dakota picked up a win against Dearborn last night and Williams was a show stealer. I think she’s still grabbing rebounds on her way to school today. Williams set a new Dakota mark with 23 boards. She finished the double-double by adding 15 points.

2024 PF Tambre Williams Tambre Williams PF Macomb Dakota | 2024 State MI from Macomb Dakota was one of my favorite prospects to watch at the Compound today. She has the length, athleticism, and quickness few post players have. Tambre blocked shots on the ball and in help, she controls the boards, and has a relentless pursuit of the ball. She faces up and explodes to the rim for layups using both hands. Tambre gives her team an advantage in transition using her long strides and blazing speed. Tambre will be an exciting post prospect to watch during the winter season for Dakota.

Williams is a prospect that has caught a lot of people’s attention. She has length that she uses well on the glass. Williams keeps the ball high and goes right back up off an offensive rebound, making it tough for her opponent to contest it. She can run the floor well and I like the way she passes off the high post.

Dakota struggled the game that I watched, but Tambre kept them in the game. She was a relentless rebounder outside of her space. She contested shots at the rim, and despite her lithe frame, Tambre found ways to make physical moves in traffic.
