<span style="font-size: 18pt;"><b>Junior Standouts Of The Week: Jan 25-30</b></span>
<i><span style="font-weight: 400;">Below is a list of standouts who had impressive performances in the Class of 2022. </span></i>
<b>Paige Platz | Brookfield East | 5’10 W</b>
<span style="font-weight: 400;">A versatile athlete who can step outside and knock down the perimeter shot, Platz is helping lead her team to a winning season. In Monday’s win over Wauwatosa East the junior led her team in scoring with 15 points. </span>

<span style="font-weight: 400;">Hutchinson is lethal from beyond the arc with a smooth release to her shot. She’s consistent and confident on the floor which makes for a fun player to watch compete. She doesn’t rush anything and really sets the tone offensively. She’s patient and has a great shot selection on the floor. In a victory over a talented La Crosse Central team this week, she scored 19 points and grabbed 11 rebounds. </span>
<b>Kate Fitzgerald | Mosinee | 5’8 G </b>
<span style="font-weight: 400;">The Mosinee junior is a lead guard who can score effortlessly on the floor. She has great movement and patience on the floor- rarely forcing anything on either end. She has well developed handles and a sick attack from the right side of the floor. In a victory over Lakeland on Tuesday, Fitzgerald led her team in scoring with 18 points and made two 3-pointers. </span>

<span style="font-weight: 400;">Alexander is a dominant post player who can impact the game with her presence in the lane on both ends of the floor. She’s shown exceptional defensive skills this season and been able to force teams to hit three pointers instead of attacking the lane. She’s been a consistent threat offensively inside the lane and uses her body well on the block. In Freedom’s victory over Marinette, Alexander scored 13 points and grabbed 5 rebounds. </span>
<b>[player_tooltip player_id="204126" first="Clare" last="Diener"] | Cedarburg | 5’10 G</b>
<span style="font-weight: 400;">The guard has incredible upside for the future as she has skill, height and IQ on the court. She’s been exceptional every game this season and has really put her team on her back. A three level scorer and playmaker, Diener creates off the dribble and the pass for this team. In a victory over a talented Homestead team, Diener finished with 23 points and 8 rebounds for her team. </span>
<b>Madison Barstad | Colfax | 5’7 SF </b>
<span style="font-weight: 400;">Barstad has great size on the court and is able to use it well to rebound the basketball. She’s been fierce on the boards this season- she is averaging nearly 8 rebounds per game. A defensive standout, she has the IQ to grab multiple steals per game as well. In a victory over Elk Mound, Barstad led her team in scoring with 13 points and 9 rebounds. </span>
<b>Anna Splittgerber | Sheboygan Lutheran/Christian | 5’4 PG </b>
<span style="font-weight: 400;">The lead point guard for the team, Splittgerber has picked up a much larger role this season. She’s been producing consistent but impressive numbers. She’s able to create off the dribble and does not shy away from contact in the lane. She’s also shown she can capitalize on the free throw line. In a victory over Stockbridge, Splittgerber led her team in scoring with 14 points and 7 steals. </span>
<b>Brooke Klatt | Baldwin-Woodville | 5’7 PG </b>
<span style="font-weight: 400;">Klatt has been a key leader for this squad. She’s a floor general and a playmaker that does an exceptional job creating. She’s fast and plays with purpose on the floor. She works well with her post player and finds her open well within the offense. In a victory over River Falls, Klatt led her team with 17 points, 6 steals and 6 assists. </span>
<b>[player_tooltip player_id="155780" first="Lianna" last="Baxter"] | Oconto | 6’1 F </b>
<span style="font-weight: 400;">The forward is a highly competitive forward who commands attention on the floor. With so much defensive pressure on her after a fantastic sophomore season, the junior was ready for all eyes to be on her. Every team is doubling or putting on their best defensive performance when facing up against Baxter. She holds her own! She’s so talented as she is a two-way standout who consistently puts up huge offensive numbers. She is averaging 19.6 points per game. A fierce rebounder as well, the junior is averaging a double-double this season. In a victory over Sevastopol she led her team in scoring with 16 points and 10 rebounds. </span>
<b>Kyla Jamerson | Nicolet | 5’7 G</b><span style="font-weight: 400;"> </span>
<span style="font-weight: 400;">Jamerson is a high speed guard who keeps an up tempo the entire time she is on the floor. She’s a defensive standout who causes havoc the entire length of the floor. She has active hands and is able to grab steals off her decision making defensively. She’s athletic and scrappy under the hoop and is able to use that to grab multiple rebounds per game. In a victory over Grafton, the junior finished with 19 points for her team. </span>

<span style="font-weight: 400;">Hansford is really coming into her shell this season and proving how elite she is on both ends of the floor. A standout athlete with size and IQ, Appleton East is thriving in large part because of Hansford. She’s an incredibly talented shooter and can knock it down with little to no room on the perimeter. In a victory over Appleton North, the junior scored 17 points and hit five 3-point baskets in the win. </span>
