TAPPS Championships coming up

I just watched the 1A UIL State Championship game, Dodd City defeated Nazareth 30-21 and I’ll be giving you a recap on that, as well as the other classifications, 2A-6A as I am doing something I hate, watching a game remotely but there is a trifecta of TAPPS State Championships down in College Station Friday and Saturday which means one thing, road trip <strong>TAPPS 6A</strong> <strong>Village School vs Bishop Lynch FRIDAY 5:30 pm @ A&amp;M Consolidated HS</strong> <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="65876" first="Jada" last="Malone"] (Village School)</strong>, my 2021 #1 in Texas dropped 20 against St Agnes to help lead her team here. The Texas A&amp;M signee has plenty of help as they try and defend their state title starting with <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="136323" first="Tymberlin" last="Criswell"] (SMU)</strong> and <strong>5’6 G</strong> <strong>Aiken Semones (Hardin Simmons)</strong>. Criswell ran the 1 efficiently and finished with 12 points and 5 steals but back-to-back threes from Semones helped spark a 14-0 run that just about sealed the victory. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="135359" first="Sydney" last="Ward"]</strong> scored 10 points while <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="96125" first="RyLee" last="Grays"]</strong> added 6 to go with 10 rebounds Bishop Lynch has some firepower, I caught them against Desoto, who btw will be playing against Cy Creek for the UIL 6A State Championship tomorrow night and TCU signee <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="97624" first="Paige" last="Bradley"]</strong> went completely off, that’s what she does and she’ll be joined by one of the top players in 2022, [player_tooltip player_id="135379" first="Madison" last="Cockrell"] as well as <strong>6’0 P Victoria Jordan</strong> who left a lasting impression <strong>TAPPS 5A</strong> <strong>Second Baptist vs Southwest Christian (Fort Worth) FRIDAY 6 pm @ College Station HS</strong> Second Baptist advances to play in the state championship game with <strong>5’6 G Olivia Sauvageau</strong> going completely off with 23 points. She was so impressive during the club season and equally impressive in their game that I caught against Houston Christian that she will be added to the updated 2024 rankings coming out next week, after mani-pedi Wednesday. Haven’t seen SWC but I know twins <strong> 5’6 G</strong> <strong>Ariele Rosbourough and 5’7 [player_tooltip player_id="200736" first="Arieona" last="Rosborough"] </strong>who are explosive, to say the least <strong>TAPPS 4A </strong> <strong>Legacy Prep vs  Lubbock Christian or Lubbock Trinity SATURDAY 3:30 pm @  A&amp;M Consolidated </strong> I’m heading into this one not knowing any of the players, I do know Legacy Prep is ranked #6 and they will either face #! Lubbock Christian or #3 Lubbock Trinity however I’m a fast learner
