2022 Rankings – New Additions – Part 1

<span style="font-size: 14pt;">Are rankings went from <strong>93 prospects to 105 prospects</strong> this rankings edition and we are going to talk about all of the girls added to the list.  We will evaluate their games and we hope you will enjoy this edition of the <strong>Prep Girls Hoops</strong> rankings right before the high school season starts. With the pandemic plaguing all of the United States it is a much needed gesture for the CIFSS to allow the kids to play.  These evaluations are credited to the collective of writers on this website.  </span> &nbsp; <span style="font-size: 14pt;"><strong>2022, 5’5, SG, El Capitan HS, [player_tooltip player_id="204055" first="Faiane" last="Eteuini"]</strong> - Big bodied guard that is tough on the defensive end of the floor, she was just tough all around, meaning she would not quit on her team and did everything she could to help them win.  Very solid body as a guard, knows how to use it on the floor and against her opponents.</span> &nbsp; <span style="font-size: 14pt;"><strong>2022, 6’3, C, Ventura HS, [player_tooltip player_id="263629" first="Amaya" last="Fuentes"]</strong> - I first saw Fuentes play back in January and she stood out as a player who could really develop into a legit post presence. Back then, she showed good instincts in the paint but was clearly a work in progress. She’s more comfortable now establishing position in the paint and more decisive when looking to score around the rim. She has good size and is tough to guard in the paint. High upside.</span> &nbsp; <span style="font-size: 14pt;"><strong>2022, 5’7, CG, Chino Hills HS, [player_tooltip player_id="263630" first="Halle" last="Sii"]</strong> - Sii is the epitome of a hustle player. She fights for loose balls and crashes the glass strong. She gives it her all on the defensive end and she does a good job challenging shots. She’s a guard and she has some solid playmaking ability. She can attack the defense off the dribble and can get to the rim. She can shoot a bit too from the outside. An overall tough guard and good floor leader.</span> &nbsp; <span style="font-size: 14pt;"><strong>2022, 5’7, PG, LB Poly HS, [player_tooltip player_id="263631" first="Nala" last="Williams"]</strong> - Williams is a tough guard as part of a very talented Jackrabbits squad.  She’s a good three-point shooter who can shoot off the dribble or catch and shoot. She can handle the ball and is very unselfish, she can see the floor and find open teammates. Strong on the glass, she fights for rebounds and second shot opportunities. She can put the ball on the floor and attack.</span> &nbsp; <span style="font-size: 14pt;"><strong>2022, 5’5, PG, Chaminade HS, [player_tooltip player_id="263632" first="Alaini" last="Cardoso"]</strong> - Cardoso is a solid point guard prospect. She can break down the defense and get into the lane. She has solid vision and can find cutting teammates and kick the ball out to shooters off dribble penetration. She can also finish at the rim. A very good shooter, she can knock down the 1-2 dribble pull-up or she can catch and shoot open threes. Very comfortable with the ball in her hands making plays.</span> &nbsp; <span style="font-size: 14pt;"><strong>2022, 5’5. CG, Twentynine Palms HS, [player_tooltip player_id="263633" first="Kate" last="Bobadilla"]</strong> - Bobadilla is a solid point guard who has great court vision. She pushes the ball well in transition. She draws the defense in with her slashing game and drops the pass off to an open teammate. Keeps her head up and looks for cutters around the rim. Offensively, she has a nice little floater when she gets into the lane. She’s crafty around the rim and has good footwork to side step defenders. Good shooter from three-point range.</span> &nbsp; <span style="font-size: 14pt;"><strong>2022, 5’10, SF, Troy HS, [player_tooltip player_id="263634" first="Aliyah" last="Gonzalez"]</strong> - Defensively is really where Gonzalez can make her mark. Applies strong pressure on ball and plays good help defense too. She picks up the ball-handler at midcourt. She’s solid in transition; can handle the ball and keeps her head up looking for her teammates. She can also get all the way to the rim. Good three-point shooter who sets her feet well on catch and shoot plays. She can also shoot with defenders rushing at her.</span>
