News surrounding the 2021 class has been really quiet as of late. An extremely short high school season is looming, but talks around high school basketball haven’t been too loud and recruitment has been even quieter in all honesty. That being said, in the last few weeks or so, we have seen a couple of talented players announce their college destinations for the 2021-2022 college basketball season.

2021 5’7 point guard [player_tooltip player_id="48055" first="Karina" last="McMillan"] committed to NCAA Division 3 Cal Lutheran in the Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference. McMillan is a tough and gritty competitor that has seen her game improve year by year from an offensive and decision making standpoint. Cal Lutheran is located in the beautiful Thousand Oaks, California.

The other latest announcement came from Rainier Beach High School’s [player_tooltip player_id="48027" first="Jaliyah" last="Sampson"]. The 6’0 wing is known for her shooting ability and strength from the small forward position. Sampson is going to be playing her college ball at Langston University at the NAIA level. Langston University competes in the Sooner Athletic Conference and is located in Langston, Oklahoma. *Feature image
