PGH Legacy Classic: Day Two Standouts (Part Two)

Day one my goal was to see as many teams and prospects as possible to get a good feel on the top teams and prospects in the event. Day two strategy was to lock-in more on individual games and prospects that I wanted to mention more specifically. Here’s a few of those games and names. <b>Amyah Moore - </b><b>5’9-5’10/CG/2021) - P.L.U.T.O Prospects 2022 -  Harrison (Colorado) - </b>Amyah is a 2021 prospect that attended PGH Legacy Classic, and she made a great decision in doing so, as she was a breakout performer for P.L.U.T.O Prospects out of Colorado. She was definitely a bright spot for their program. She’s uncommitted and ranked #24 for the class of 2021 by PGH Colorado. She’s going to find a team to play for at the next level as she has offers but is trying to find the right fit and attending the Legacy Classic definitely helped her. According to PGH Colorado Amyah was an elite scorer at the high school level this past season, with averages of 27.2 points, 11.3 rebounds, 2.3 assists, 5.6 steals and 2.9 blocks per game. She had a 24 point explosion against one of the top teams in Nebraska Hoops Elite and was a top-5 prospect in athleticism at the event. <b>Ana Spaine - (5’7/SG/2023) - CY Select 2023 Alpha - West Des Moines Valley (Iowa) -</b> Ana made the list because of her athleticism, movement, and defensive ability. She can play deny coverage and tight-on ball coverage as well. This doesn’t mean that she’s poor offensively as she had a 13 point game, but she was clearly a top athlete in the tournament. <b>Kennadi Williams - (5’5-5’6/PG/2024 -  Elite Basketball 2024 - Lincoln Southwest (Nebraska) - </b>The Nebraska Attack 2024 UAA and Elite 2024 matchup was a game I locked-in on and I’m glad I did. The first half consisted of scoring runs by both teams. Kennadi was a crucial part in her team cruising back from a big deficit to win the game in a tight 58-55 final score. She was making plays for her teammates and scored 10 points in the game, by getting to the hoop consistently. She’s a solidly-built point guard that plays strong and with consistent, high effort. She’s skilled with the ball too, and understands the game and how the point guard position should be played. According to MaxPreps, she averaged 8.9 ppg. and 2.6 stls. at the varsity level for Lincoln Southwest. <b>Doneelah Washington - (6’0-6’1/C/2024) - Elite Basketball 2024 - Lincoln Northeast (Nebraska) - </b>Doneelah was one of the best interior 2024 prospects in the event. She’s standing around 6’0-6’1 and has some solid length to her. She uses her length to get up close to the hoop for easy twos and also to protect the paint to alter and block shots. She was chosen as a top performer with a 15 point game and was a consistent inside scorer and rebounder for the entire tournament. <strong>Peyton Tritz - (5’4/PG/2024) - Nebraska Attack 2024 UAA - Dakota Valley (South Dakota) -</strong> Peyton is a threat from three and is one of the best finishers over top of height in the lane in the state of South Dakota. She can make high-difficulty layups with the defense there. She was also the starting point guard for Dakota Valley in South Dakota as a 2024. Participating in events like these will only help her grow, as she showed she can compete with elite level prospects with her elite quickness.  She had 16 points in the Attack’s matchup vs Elite Basketball 2024.
