<strong>Breakdown:</strong>
[player_tooltip player_id="158544" first="Emma" last="Sixta"]
Sixta is Clutch Rose’s cerebral and highly intuitive guard who can create her own shot with creativity and innovativeness. She is a three-level scorer who knows how to slip past the defense and has an excellent touch in the paint. She can score off the pick and roll but also has an overall scorer’s mentality whether that is shown through a back-cut or a smooth floater in the lane. She finished with 10 points, 4 rebounds, and 2 assists in a efficient display.
Borter & Naro
[player_tooltip player_id="158564" first="Zoe" last="Borter"] and [player_tooltip player_id="158547" first="Madison" last="Naro"] are yin and yang for Clutch Rose. Borter is the physical wing who has a knack for rebounding and getting into the paint and finishing with strength. Naro on the other hand sets the table, plays at a calm tempo at all times, and has all the intangibles of a traditional point guard. Put these two together on the court and you have a wide variety of depth at the guard position. They combined to 11 points, 14 rebounds, and 8 assists.
Spear
[player_tooltip player_id="158567" first="Lainey" last="Spear"] is a match-up nightmare for opponents as her length and size stifle opponents entirely. She out maneuvers opponents her size with her fluidity and agility as she displays a tremendous amount of confidence putting the ball out on the floor. What is the most scary about her game is that she is beginning to sink the three-point shot with good efficiency as she has added another layer to her game entirely. She finished with 7 points, 8 rebounds, 2 assist, 2 blocks, and 2 steals - very telling of her ability to put numbers on the board.
