Day 2 of the Premier Basketball Gary Blevins Memorial Classic in Frisco, Texas did not disappoint in the 15u division. With a nail-biter championship game, coming down to the last 1.8 seconds, everyone was on the edge of their seats. The Arkansas Banshees Sadler won 47-46.
Follow along below to see some of the standouts of the day.

Championship Game 15U: Arkansas Banshees Sadler v. BTR Pink

2026 5-4 PG #11 Jayla Constant - BTR Pink
Jayla has great handles and you can tell the team feels comfortable when the ball is in her hands. She fights for every loose ball and you can count on her to be ready to get back on defense when a shot goes up. Leads her teammates and will guide them to where they need to be during the game.
2026 5-7 SG/SF #23 Da'Nae Jefferson - BTR Pink
Jefferson is a physical, built guard that enjoys drawing the foul when driving to the basket. She knocked down 3 or 4 huge threes for her team in the first half bringing lots of energy and as much as a 15-point lead at one point. Loves the quick trap and steal. Team leader.
2025 6-0 PG #11 Marcayla Johnson - Arkansas Banshees Sadler

Marcayla Johnson is a name that everyone needs to start getting used to hearing. This girl is unbelievably athletic and has everyone in the crowd talking about her. She hustles hard on EVERY play and doesn't run out of gas. Can execute on defense and make the necessary pass on offense, if she isn't using her intense pro-hop to get the bucket down low. Has the ability to take over the game. My MVP of the whole tournament in the 15U division. What a fun player to watch.
2024 5-6 PG #23 Ava Maner - Arkansas Banshees Sadler
Ava managed to come off of the bench in the championship game with her team down 7 and took it over. With hard takes to the basket, she had two big layups and an extremely beneficial "and-one" to turn the tides of this basketball game. Sunk two big free throws near the end to extend her team's lead. The Banshees needed her to win the championship game.
2025 5-9 PG #9 Janiyah Williams - Arkansas Banshees Sadler
Williams is a high D1 prospect with an extreme amount of potential. She is a physical, true point guard that will get her team set up and work the ball around until she finds the open spot. Can make her mid-range pull-up look easy and will get right back on defense to initiate the suffocating trap. She sees the entire floor at all times on both offense and defense. Extremely high basketball IQ.

Honorable Mentions

2024 5-8 SF #23 Mariah Clayton - Lady Hawks Elite
Mariah made a statement on both ends of the floor with her rebounding skills. She is a very versatile player that has the ability to bring the ball up the court if needed and can dribble out of traffic to get back in the necessary position. Hard player on defense. Loves to get up and force the turnover at half court. She can gamble to try to secure the steal but has quick enough feet to find her way back if she can't get it.
2024 5-5 PG #11 Dawson Jemerson - Lady Hawks Elite
Jemerson is a scrappy player that will drive hard to the basket to open up the kick out to her teammate at the three-point line. She can finish the flashy pass and make it look easy. Dawson has quick feet and loves to fly around the court during her minutes. She was by far the most selfless player I watched throughout the entire tournament.
