The Prep Girls Hoops Michigan class of 2022 prospect rankings were recently updated. There are extremely talented players at all positions, up and down this list. Let’s take a look at some rising post prospects.
[player_tooltip player_id="277635" first="Davai" last="Matthews"] (PF, Wayne Memorial)
Prep Girls Hoops Ranking: #11
Matthews has simply proven herself. She’s always been an elite level talent, but she has truly found her game. Matthews should be considered a big time prospect at the next level as she can dominate physically inside as well as show some very nice ball skills.
[player_tooltip player_id="147769" first="Tadessa" last="Brown"] (C, Brooklyn Columbia Central)
Prep Girls Hoops Ranking: #14
Brown rose up the rankings a ton. She had to. She just has the strength and power in her game that most players dream of. Brown can control the paint on both ends of the floor. I almost expect her to average a double-double in her senior season.
[player_tooltip player_id="147776" first="Ella" last="Miller"] (PF, East Lansing)
Prep Girls Hoops Ranking: #61
I feel like I got a better understanding of Miller’s game this season. I really like her versatility and her ability to attack offensively no matter where she’s at on the floor. Miller can bang in the paint, but can score from mid range extended and is a very good perimeter passer.
[player_tooltip player_id="178864" first="Tessa" last="Wagner"] (C, Carney-Nadeau)
Prep Girls Hoops Ranking: #90
Wagner put up some staggering numbers in her junior season. She was an absolute nightmare for opposing teams to match up with. Wagner has a nice combination of size and maneuverability down low. Her game starts on the defensive end and she’s one of the best 2-way centers in the league.
[player_tooltip player_id="277638" first="Emmalyn" last="Geers"] (PF, Kent City)
Prep Girls Hoops Ranking: #104
Geers shot up the list, and honestly, has a very legitimate argument to be even higher. I don’t even really like limiting Geers to a position. It feels like she can play and defend almost anywhere and her stats from game to game back that up. One night she’ll grab 9 or 10 boards, and the next she’ll drop 5 assists.
[player_tooltip player_id="277650" first="Alexis" last="Snodgrass"] (PF, Hartford)
Prep Girls Hoops Michigan Ranking:
Snodgrass has been turning heads and her ranking is definitely evidence of that. During the high school season, she showed the ability to be a big time scorer, as well as a key cog on the defensive end.
[player_tooltip player_id="277663" first="Milana" last="Skoric"] (C, Stoney Creek)
Skoric stormed her way on to the list this spring. She was more than impressive during high school season, giving the look of an elite shot blocker. Skoric has impressive length and moves extremely well. She can run the floor and can move horizontally with ease. Skoric has a ton of talent to build on.
