PGH Dynasty Region Finals: 16U Scout’s Notebook Pt. 1

It's been a little while since the Dynasty Region Finals wrapped up, but I still wanted to take the time to clean out my notebook and get as much attention for these awesome players as I possibly could. if a player stood out, I made a note. i will translate my sloppy handwriting and jibberish into coherent notes so that you coaches can get a good idea of the tremendous talent that was all over the court as the PGH Circuit wrapped up for 2021! <strong>AAO Flight 2023 Sanders</strong> <strong>Brooke Smith - 2023 - 5-11 - Siloam Springs </strong> - Very smart defender. Good mid-range jumper. <strong>Ella Wise - 2023 - 5-8 - Thaden</strong> - Strong. Does a good job of protecting the ball on the drive. <strong>Abbey Sanders - 2023 - 5-8 - Bentonville</strong> - Great length. Good, natural shooting stroke. <strong>Ashley Rangel - 2023 - 5-10 - Bentonville</strong> <strong>West</strong> - Long, very athletic G/F. Works hard on defense. <strong>Aubrey Treadwell - 2023 - 5-8 - Rogers</strong> - True Point Guard. Distributor, great vision. Good defender. &nbsp; <strong>B</strong><strong>anshees 2023 3SSB</strong> <strong>Mia Fugate - 2023 - 5-5 - Holland Hall </strong>- Tough drive to the basket. Strong. Good handles. <strong>Raegan McQuarters - 2023 - 5-5 - Will Rogers</strong> - Clearly just wants it. Hardworker. Gifted player. <strong>Kayley Alt - 2023 - 5-8 - Pryor</strong> - Scores in a lot of ways. Can fill it up. <strong>Sophia Regalado - 2023 - 5-9 - Holland Hall</strong> - Sneaky good. Great size for a guard. &nbsp; <strong>Colorado Prospect Academy 2023</strong> <strong>Anilya Thompson - 2023 - 5-2 - Northfield</strong> - Tough player. Good stroke from deep. Good handles. Smart. <strong>Nashara Ellerbee - 2024 - 6-0 - Northfield </strong>- Great size. Very, very long. Learning to become good inside player. <strong>Ashley Alvarez - 2024 - 5-8 - Westminster</strong> - Strong. Good moves inside. Good, tough defense. Great finisher. <strong>Raelyn Koenig - 2023 - 5-7 -</strong> <strong>Wiggins</strong> - Pure shooter. Good drive. Very quick. <strong>Courtney Auld - 2023 - 5-6 - Lewis Palmer</strong> - Great spot-up shooter. Receives ball well to get shot off. &nbsp; <strong>Dynasty 2023 Blue</strong> <strong>Jaliyah Manuel - 2024 - 6-0 - Wichita East</strong> - Great size. Very long. Still learning, but going to be very good. <strong>Alana Webb - 2025 - 5-5 - Wichita Coleman Middle</strong> - Crazy handles! Bouncy. Involved in every play. <strong>Makayla McClellan - 2023 - 5-4 - Wichita Collegiate</strong> - Go-getter. Works hard all game long. &nbsp; <strong>FBC Nightmares Teal 24/23</strong> <strong>Terrielle Clark - 2024 - 5-6 - Terry</strong> <strong>Parker</strong> - Nice high release on jumper. Bouncy. Lots of 3's! <strong>Bailey Gilmore - 2023 - 6-3 - Bradwell Institute</strong> - Very, very long and tall. ATHLETIC! Great defender. Looks like D-I prospect! <strong>Ezaria Adams - 2023 - 5-8 - Palm Beach Central</strong> - Long. All over on defense. Good finish at rim. <strong>Morgan Gavazzi - 2024 - 5-5 - Ponte Verde</strong> - Shooter. Plays through contact. Finishes strong. <strong>Alindria Dudley - 2023 - 5-5 - Glynn Academy</strong> - Like a glove on defense. Very quick. <strong>Eris Lester - 2024 - 5-9 - Orange Park</strong> - Long and can shoot it. Goes hard all game long. &nbsp; <strong>Illinois Inferno 2023 Orange</strong> <strong>Claire Woods - 2024 - 5-7 - Greenfield</strong> - Strong. Very active on both ends. Good hands. &nbsp; <strong>Illinois Rockets 2023 BSA</strong> <strong>Maddie Yacobozzi - 2024 - 5-9 - Lincolnway East - </strong>Active. Moves well. Long and can shoot it. <strong>Mariann Blass - 2023 - 5-8 - York H.S. </strong>- Five 3's and scored 21 pts! SHOOTER! Good handles. This kid can play! <strong>Carley Faulkner - 2023 - 6-1 - Huntley</strong> - Very athletic big. Great length. Good rebounder. <strong>Makayla Kelly - 2024 - 5-9 - Lincolnway East</strong> - Kid is a flat-out baller! Fun to watch. <strong>Kennedy Brandt - 2023 - 5-9 - Glenbard West</strong> - Big and strong, but fluid movement. Nice stroke, too! &nbsp; <strong>Illinois Rockets 2023 Red</strong> <strong>Jamie Nosek - 2023 - 6-0 - Metea Valley</strong> - Big, long player. Good inside. Soft hands. &nbsp; <strong>Kansas Elite 2023 Zars</strong> <strong>Brielle Staines - 2023 - 5-11 - Shawnee Mission South </strong> - Very long. Runs floor very well for a big. Good rebounder. <strong>Jolie Bonderer - 2024 - 5-8 - Chilicothe</strong> - Athletic. Moves well with and without the ball. Good D. &nbsp; <strong>KC Lady Run GMC 2023 UAA</strong> <strong>Taelyn Smith - 2025 - 5-10 - Notre Dame De Sion</strong> - Great size. Moves really well. Smart defender. Young, but looks like D-I potentially. <strong>Elauni Bennett - 2023 - 5-10 - Lee's Summit North </strong>- Absolute baller. Kid just knows how to score. Great length. <strong>Riley Bruggeman - 2023 - 5-7 - St. James Academy</strong> - Good PG. Handles the ball with eyes up. &nbsp; <strong>Missouri Tarheels 2023</strong> <strong>Heaven Shockley - 2023 - 6-1 - Central</strong> - Big and strong. Great inside. Steps out to the perimeter on D. Confident with ball in hands. <strong>Delaney Wiley - 2023 - 6-3 - Kickapoo</strong> - Very long inside player with great height! Soft hands inside. Good post moves. <strong>Miya Nieto - 2023 - 5-6 - Kickapoo</strong> - Good PG! One-handed, hard passes all over the court. Follows shot. BALLER! &nbsp; <strong>O.W.E. Family Renegades Select 2023</strong> <strong>Writer's Note:</strong> This team had several good players. None of the numbers that I wrote down in my notes are on the team's roster. I can't write about your players if I can't figure out who they were, coaches. Send in correct rosters. You aren't doing your players any favors if we can't figure out who they are. &nbsp; <strong>Oklahoma Lady Trotters 2023</strong> <strong>Azeyah Nwankwoala - 2023 - 5-9 - Home School</strong> - Best player on the team! Tenacious defender. WANTS IT! <strong>Angel Green - 2023 - 5-8 - Putnam City</strong> - Big, strong inside player. Surprising touch underneath. Good scorer. &nbsp;
