After our 2023 class rankings update, we look in this article at a few of the players who have raised their player profiles during the first half of the summer AAU session. These players have been able to show improvements in their games so far as we head into the last couple of months between the end of high school ball and the first half of the spring AAU session.

<ul>
<li>An excellent lead guard that sees the floor well and has great court awareness. A Class 5 All-State selection, Destiny is an elite three-level scorer. She is creative off the bounce attacking the rim and is a knockdown shooter from three. She is very good on defense using her speed and ability to anticipate plays and get out in passing lanes.</li>
</ul>
<p style="text-align: center;"><strong><span style="font-size: 14pt;">[player_tooltip player_id="107020" first="Myra" last="Claas"] Ι 5’6" CG Ι Tipton</span></strong></p>
<ul>
<li>A Class 3 All-State selection, Myra is an elite-level shooter with range past the three-point line. Her ability to find space and use her quick release to get her shot off is outstanding. She can play on-ball making plays for her teammates or attacking the rim off the bounce. She is a solid defender and really plays at a great pace on the floor. Myra has a positive impact on both ends of the floor.</li>

<p style="text-align: center;"><strong><span style="font-size: 14pt;">[player_tooltip player_id="170384" first="Briar" last="Cox"] Ι 5’11" C Ι Tipton</span></strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Briar is a rebounds machine on both the defensive and offensive ends of the floor. A Class 3 All-State performer, Briar plays hard and really runs the floor well. She finishes everything around the rim and has great hands. Her footwork is solid in the post area and she is an elite-level defender with her shot timing and ability to get off the floor quickly.</li>

<p style="text-align: center;"><strong><span style="font-size: 14pt;">[player_tooltip player_id="171112" first="Laney" last="Humble"] Ι 5’5" CG Ι Sparta</span></strong></p>
<ul>
<li>An elite shooter from three with range, Laney sees the floor well and is comfortable playing on or off-ball. A Class 3 All-State selection, she is an excellent three-level scorer and can create off the bounce. She is solid on defense and can get after-ball handlers. She finishes through contact attacking the rim and plays the game with a very high basketball IQ.</li>
</ul>
<p style="text-align: center;"><strong><span style="font-size: 14pt;">[player_tooltip player_id="267409" first="Violet" last="McNece"] Ι 5’10" SG Ι Incarnate Word Academy</span></strong></p>
<ul>
<li>A gifted guard that has really come on this spring AAU session. Violet is long and athletic and is dynamic with the ball attacking the basket going either right or left. She runs the floor well and fills lanes to finish fast breaks. She is an excellent shooter from three and she scores in the mid-range at a high rate. She uses her length to get deflections on defense and is a capable rebounder. Has a high motor and great basketball IQ.</li>
