MBCA Small College Showcase: Team No. 5 Evals

Prep Girls Hoops Missouri takes a look at the players on Team No. 6 from last weekend’s Missouri Basketball Coaches Association Small College Showcase in Columbia. Azailah Funches 5’10" Lone Jack: A very athletic 2024 forward who was a matchup problem with her versatility. She dominated the offensive boards with her quick second jump. She also had a quick first step to get to the basket and a nice jumper. [player_tooltip player_id="107973" first="Morgan" last="Luebbering"] 6’3" Fatima: A talented 2022 forward who has excellent length to go along with her height. She moves well up and down the court and got buckets on some impressive rim runs. She catches the ball very well around the basket and has a nice shooting touch. [player_tooltip player_id="107984" first="Raegan" last="Brown"] 5’8" South Callaway: A talented combo guard with good size and three level scoring ability. She was always in the attack and she operates well in tight spaces. She shit the 3-pointer well and dropped several dimes. Malia Rodgers 5’6" Montgomery County: A 2024 combo guard who has 3-point shooting range and an effective mid range jumper. She has good form on her shot and can score with both hands in the lane. Saryn Brown 5’8" North Nodaway: A 2024 guard who was very aggressive in the drive. She played through contact well and made her free throws. Mariah Robinson 5’7" Clever: A talented 2022 guard with a very resourceful offensive game. She was very good on the move as she hit runners and floaters, plus she can hit the open 3-pointer. She was very assertive.
