Whenever we talk about Sioux City East and their fantastic girl’s program, we have spoken on their high-end prospects that are receiving D1 interest but another prospect that has been a constant for them over the past few seasons at the Guard position is Makenzie Demke Makenzie Demke 5'6" | PG Sioux City East | 2025 State IA . Demke isn’t going to kill you with any insane moves but moreso with her patient and disciplined play-style. Whenever you have a prospect on a team with multiple D1 level talented players, it can become hard to make your presence known but Demke does a great job of doing that. She makes the most out of her opportunities a majority of the time, while always being willing to step up and take on any assignment that her coaches might give her throughout a contest. This Spring Demke will join up with her Nebraska Attack UAA team for another go around. If she can do what she did during the high school season and make the most out of the opportunities that she is given, I’m sure there is going to be a coach or two out there at the next level, who are interested in her and her future.
