The Prep Girls Hoops Michigan Top 250 Expo is scheduled for October 3 in Grand Rapids, Michigan at MSA Woodland. The Prep Hoops Top 250 is one of the most nationally renowned showcase series in the country. There are a lot of talented players that we’d like to see at the event. Below is an example of 10 of those players from the class of 2022.

[player_tooltip player_id="147717" first="Madisen" last="Wardell"] (F, Detroit Edison)
Wardell was a star at the event last fall. She drew the eyes of coaches, scouts, and fans. Wardell is one of the most versatile players around, influencing the game in so many ways. We’d love to see that versatility again.
[player_tooltip player_id="277649" first="Alivia" last="Densmore"] (PF, Portland)
Densmore was a key piece of a state title winning Portland squad. We’d like to see her battle in the paint against the best and show off how truly talented her team was.
[player_tooltip player_id="277664" first="Sophie" last="Ensing"] (SG, Byron Center)
Ensing has a lot of tools and intangibles that college coaches at the event will really like. She has good positional size and is an underrated overall athlete. Ensing has a good eye for the ball on D and uses that to create turnovers.
[player_tooltip player_id="147747" first="Brooke" last="Daniels"] (PG, L’Anse Creuse North)
Daniels is a big time point guard with an explosive edge that makes her really exciting to watch. We want Daniels to make the trip to Grand Rapids and show us all what the state has in store next high school season.
[player_tooltip player_id="147782" first="Anna" last="Fernandez"] (PG, Plymouth Christian)
Fernandez is a stone cold shooter, we have all seen that. But we want Fernandez at the Top 250 to showcase the tremendous growth in ALL aspects of her game. She will certainly impress next level coaches at the event.
[player_tooltip player_id="227317" first="Maddie" last="Schuur"] (SG, Zeeland East)
Schuur had an absolutely terrific grassroots season. She was really a big time stand out to me this spring and summer. Schuur was a consistent scorer that proved she could handle the pressure of being the go to girls.
[player_tooltip player_id="277671" first="Jaden" last="Benschoter"] (C, Tecumseh)
Benschoter should be a more well known name around southeastern Michigan and the state as a whole. What better way to gain publicity than the Prep Hoops Top 250? Benschoter has a chance to be a real difference maker in the paint.
[player_tooltip player_id="147745" first="Taylor" last="Thompson"] (SF, Grand Blanc)
Thompson is a terrific player that gets it done with heart and hustle. She’s an excellent athlete cutting off the wings and adds energy every time she hits the floor. We want to see that grit and determination at the Top 250.
[player_tooltip player_id="185193" first="Lina" last="Rea"] (PG, Utica)
Rea had an absolutely awesome grassroots season. She was a true floor leader that led her team. Rea showed the ability to create and get buckets when her team needed them. We’d like to see Rea show off once again in Grand Rapids.
[player_tooltip player_id="253603" first="Sharon" last="Smith"] (PG, Saginaw)
Smith would be a great addition to the talent at the Top 250. She’s a strong and physical guard that can bounce off contact without it phasing her. I want to see Smith show off her strength and quick 1st step on October 3.
