Baptista can handle the rock, get anywhere on the court she wants to and can beat you with the shot or the pass. She can shoot it from anywhere on the floor. Bautista is an X Factor, but by no means she is an underdog. She happens to play with one of the best guards in the State, Jim’ Miyah Branton, who is a dominant guard on the floor. Bautista is an X Factor in the 3A playoffs and dangerous as well.

Bautista has the basketball IQ, the handles, the craftiness, the ability to create and make her own shot, and the ability to create shots for her teammates. She can handle the ball going left or right and score with either hand. Bautista is a player to see this summer live period.

Every time I walk in he gym and see Bautista playing, I stop in my tracks just to see what the young guard is going to do next. She is just that exciting of a player. She was impressive at the PGH event last year and she is just as good as advertised. She can shoot it from all levels of the court and can handle and pass the rock. On Day one of the Candice Dupree Invitational, the smooth guard took a fast break, sliced through the defense and finished with a smooth left-handed layup. When not being spectacular, she is steady. Bautista gets the team in it’s offensive sets and just controls the flow. She was shaken up on night one, but not before making her usual impression.
