1. Chloe Briggs Chloe Briggs 6'0" | SF Ontario Christian HS | 2023 State CA – Ontario Christian 2023
Briggs is quite possibly the best playmaker right now in SoCal. Her passing and court vision is elite. She has that knack of finding her open teammates and is able to anticipate where they’re going to be. It’s a skill that can’t be taught. She’s going to be an impact point guard at the college level. She can score too. She’s crafty and can find he seams in the defense. She can hit defenders with a hesitation and get to where she wants to go on the court. Good shooter from range.
2. Ari Long Ari Long 5'9" | SG Valley View HS | 2023 State CA – Valley View 2023
Long is one of the latest of talented players produced by the I.E. She recently picked up a D1 offer from San Jose State over the summer. She’s quietly been one the most improved players in SoCal. She’s a natural wing who can handle the ball. She can shoot off the dribble and hit defenders with a pull-up. Good three point shooter, lights out when left open. She uses her length well defensively; contest shots well on the perimeter. Primed for a big junior season.
3. Lani White Lani White 5'10" | SG Mater Dei HS | 2022 State CA – Mater Dei 2022
One of the incoming senior leaders for the Monarchs, White has been picking up interest from D1 schools. She hit the game-winning three in CIF playoffs against Corona Centennial last year. What stands out to me the most about her is her ability to move without the ball. It was that ability that got her the open 3 in the playoffs. She makes strong cuts around the rim. She has a nice touch in the paint and can shoot little jumpers near the basket. Very good getting out in transition.
4. Hannah Stines Hannah Stines 5'9" | SG Troy HS | 2022 State CA – Troy 2022
An incoming senior, Stines is a player I’ve watched multiple times over the past year. She’s a very good scorer who is able to handle the ball and get to her spots on the court. Good shooter in the midrange and can hit defenders with that 1-2 dribble pull-up. She’s very comfortable putting the ball on the floor and can handle defensive pressure. Good shooter from deep. She moves will without the ball and can make good cuts to the rim. She’ll be an impact player at the next level.
