Standout Prep: Top Players

With High School season gearing up, I wanted to highlight players that had a great summer with a top AAU team in Springfield, Missouri Standout Prep. [player_tooltip player_id="106835" first="Logan" last="Jones"]-5’8 Point Guard Mansfield HS The heady 2023 Point guard had a great summer with standout prep leading them in scoring. She is a big time scorer who really impressed college coaches this summer. She can score at all three levels doing it very efficiently. Quick with her first step when attacking the basket, very good in the in between game with floaters, and mid range jumpers. Jones shoots it from deep well with range. Regan well- 5’10 Guard/Forward  Liberty HS The 2024 do it all forward played up a year and did very well. She was the second leading scorer showing coaches and scouts that she can score at al three levels. Her shot is very smooth and knocks down the pull up jumper constantly. She handles the ball very well with both hands.  Great around the basketball with both hands , and causes problems with her size when smaller players are guarding her. Harleigh Hodges-6’0 Center Mansfield HS Hodges a post player in the 2023 class has a well rounded game. She controls the paint area very well on both ends of the court. Very good at blocking shots. Has a soft touch offensively can finish at the rim, and also rebounds the ball very well. Makes her a hard match up because she has a nice touch from the three point line. Chole Eisenman- 5’6 Combo Guard Ozark Hs The 2023 is a sharpshooter that really made her mark this summer showing that she i a great shooter with range. She led the team in three pointers made and three point percentage. She is going to have a very good season coming up. [player_tooltip player_id="107978" first="Miranda" last="Moss"] 5’8 Point Guard Richland  HS The senior guard who is a great leader who the team usually gravitate too. Adding to her leadership moss can really  shoot the ball with the best of them. This summer she showed coaches that she can shoot shoot the ball constantly from behind the arc . [player_tooltip player_id="107020" first="Myra" last="Claas"]- 5’6 Combo Guard tipton Hs Claas is one of the best players in the area. The 2023 Guard showed why this summer by displaying her versatility on both ends. She is a three level scorer that does that very efficiently. Class put a lot of pressure on the defense because of her ability to shoot the ball from deep, shoots the mid range well and attacks the basket. For a guard her size she rebounds the ball very well, gets her teammates involved and gets plenty of steal per game. Sydney Hampton 5’9 Forward Ozark HS She played a year up and did well this summer. The forward showed that she is very well rounded with her game. Can dribble and shoot well for her  size.  Has good finesse around the rim with both hands and rebounds the ball well.
