Janiya has been a staple in the lineup for the Lady Lions over the past 4 years for Head Coach Douglas Gause. Richburg a left-handed forward plays all over the floor for the Lady Lions.

She does her best work it seems is around the bucket scoring the ball. Janiya averaged 13.4 ppg, 14 rebounds, 5.8 steals, 4.4 blocks and 2.9 assists last season. She will look to handle the rock up the floor at times and look to attack at all times. Janiya likes to play the game downhill to the bucket. She plays very active on the glass on both ends of the court.

Janiya surely has no problems picking up a few bruises along the way. She will dive on the deck every time for a loose ball. Wherever she plays at the next level she can certainly help a college program with her all-out HUSTLE at all times on the floor.

Richburg is a TWEENER at the next level with her play. Janiya a left-handed forward HUSTLES for everything she does on the floor. She has no problems defending the lanes and bigger post players.

Janiya can get by bigger defenders with her foot speed. Richburg has no problems jumping on the floor for a loose ball or grabbing a rebound in traffic.
