Signing day for many schools in New Jersey took place over the past week and we saw many girls basketball standouts affirm their college commitments and officially sign with their respective schools.
Of the many who ended up signing across the state, it’s now official that the No. 2 prospect in the 2022 class as ranked by Prep Girls Hoops, [player_tooltip player_id="318906" first="Paulina" last="Paris"], will be heading to Chapel Hill, North Carolina to play for the Tar Heels.
Paris, earlier this year, de-committed from Penn State, and now, she’s moving from the Big Ten to the ACC to join 2021 Tar Heel commit and Manchester Township standout, Destiny Adams, among others.
Some other big names to discuss for signing day in New Jersey include the No. 7 player in PGH NJ’s 2022 class, [player_tooltip player_id="134635" first="Tabitha" last="Amanze"], who committed to Princeton, along with the No. 1 player in the class, [player_tooltip player_id="134626" first="Madison" last="St. Rose"].
The two will be teaming up for the perennial favorite in the Ivy League and a rising program in the women’s college basketball landscape.
The No. 9 player in our 2022 class, [player_tooltip player_id="134628" first="Saniah" last="Caldwell"] from Saddle River Day, officially signed with UPenn after committing in early October.
A few more names of note on this day, [player_tooltip player_id="134639" first="Madison" last="Schiller"] officially signed with Colgate after committing in early October. Schiller is the No. 13 prospect on our 2022 list.
[player_tooltip player_id="155468" first="Brooke" last="Hollawell"], the No. 16 prospect from our 2022 list, committed to Dartmouth in mid-October and officially signed with the Big Green.
The last player we’ll talk about in this article is the No. 19 prospect on our 2022 class list, [player_tooltip player_id="159086" first="Harmony" last="Marquez"], who officially signed with Saint Anselm after committing in late September.
