2022 Rankings: Top Shooting Guards

With the latest 2022 ranking update we’ve surpassed 100 ranked players in the class and almost definitely missed some worthy of ranking. Here’s a look at the top shooting guards in the Senior class rankings. [player_tooltip player_id="259216" first="Madelyn" last="Lawson"], Dixie Heights - A breakout star last season after battling back from a couple of knee injuries, Lawson looks forward to an even bigger and better Senior season. Maddie gets to the free throw line at a high rate and capitalizes when she does get there. If she can improve her three point shooting, she'll average close to 20 points per game. [player_tooltip player_id="106142" first="Timothi" last="Williams"], Great Crossing - A big wing with a lot of long term upside, Williams had a big Junior season and hopes to improve in her Senior campaign. Timmi is on the short list of best players in the 11th region and hopes to lift Great Crossing to a regional title in their third season. [player_tooltip player_id="31892" first="Briante" last="Gowdy"], Campbellsville - A shifty guard who can play on or off the ball, Bree is a slasher who does most of her damage in the paint and at the rim. One of the most valuable small school players in the state, Gowdy could be a 20+ point per game scorer this season if she improves her shooting percentages. Part of a veteran core for the Lady Panthers, Caylan is a slashing guard who does most of her damage off the dribble put has shown she can be a reliable shooter from distance too. Lexy should bring a lot of offensive firepower back to the Owl roster that is loaded with talent.
