The #10-point guard currently, Steele is a dynamic player that plays with tremendous energy on both sides of the floor. She has the ability to knock down tough shots and can singlehandedly get her team out of stagnant moments with energetic plays that bring life to the team. Steele isn’t scared to take the big shots that come within tight games. Abbey is a stellar defender too. She will pick players up way out by the halfcourt line. Steele is active off the ball, but rarely ever out of position. Even if Abbey isn’t getting credit for the steal on the stat-sheet, her efforts often lead to disrupting the offense. Abbey is one of Maine’s better pgs and a talent to keep an eye on all year.
