[player_tooltip player_id="100468" first="Avery" last="Broughton"] - 6’0 G 2023 - Corsica-Stickney - University of South Dakota - Avery was fully cleared from her ACL injury after seven months. She’s poised to be determined to have a dominant individual and team season.
[player_tooltip player_id="100478" first="Olivia" last="Kieffer"] - 5’10 G 2023 - Rapid City Christian - University of South Dakota - Olivia is another candidate to lead the state in scoring. She averaged 22.0 ppg. last season and that was down from a year before. So she has potential to score high numbers. With her elite scoring, she’s averaging 4.6 apg. for her career.
[player_tooltip player_id="354609" first="Alexa" last="Ham"] - 6’0 G/Wing 2023 - Rapid City Christian - When watching Rapid City Christian, I couldn’t help but notice the length of Alexa. She’s one of those prospects that is forced to play inside but could play a wing spot at size and length.
[player_tooltip player_id="99736" first="Kennadi" last="Buchholz"] - 6’0 C 2022 - De Smet - Kennadi is a force that was Class B All-State, and poured in a double-double average with 18.5 ppg. and 10.0 rpg. She’s one of the top posts in the state.
[player_tooltip player_id="261993" first="Maleighya" last="Estes"] - 5’8 G 2022 - White River - Dakota Wesleyan - Coming off an All-State season, where she scored 20.6 ppg., Maleighya could take her scoring to a whole different level. She has a shot to lead the state in scoring. Wouldn’t be surprised if she had similar scoring numbers as Valandra-Prue -- who nearly scored 28 per game.
[player_tooltip player_id="246223" first="Jadyn" last="Jensen"] - 5’10 SG 2023 - Jones County - Jadyn was one of the most consistent scorers in the state, with only two games under double-figures. She averaged 19.5 ppg. and put in a 31 point game vs. Lyman late in the season. She’s already a 1,000 point scorer and will be starting her Junior season. Her ranking will be adjusted next update. Not an elite handle on the ball, but she finds ways to score the ball.
[player_tooltip player_id="150861" first="Morgan" last="Fiedler"] - 5’7 G 2022 - Aberdeen Roncalli - Northern State University - The NSU commit isn’t talked about nearly enough. She’s an elite defender on a top defense in the state, in Aberdeen Roncalli. Can slash with the ball and get into the teeth of the defense.
