Olivia Hoerl Olivia Hoerl 5'11" | CG Chilton | 2022 State WI -5’11 G/F-’22-Chilton: Hoerl has exploded early on this season. Hoerl has averaged 30.5 points, 11 rebounds, and four steals. In an incredible scoring night against Ozaukee, Hoerl scored 42 points and pulled down 13 rebounds. Hoerl’s numbers early on are comparable with anyone. The senior comes from a great organization, Wisconsin Blaze, and has improved year after year. The final season for Hoerl is starting as great as anyone could hope.
Elli Teubert-5’3 G-’22-Clinton: The Clinton senior has put together a solid three-game start to the season. Teubert has scored, on average, 26 points a night and has also done efficiently. Teubert has shot 56% from the field and 46% from behind the three-point line this season. Teubert has also added four assists and four steals per game to add to the impressive start that she has had.
Molly Janke Molly Janke 5'10" | SG Ellsworth | 2024 State WI -5’11 G/F-’24-Ellsworth: Although Janke has only played two games so far, her performance is more than notable. To open the season against Mondovi, Janke was incredible. The sophomore opened the season with 32 points, 15 rebounds, five assists, and four steals. The most impressive part of that game was that Janke earned 25 free throws against Mondovi. Although she “only” made 16 of them, the ability to get the line shows how natural of a scorer Janke is right now.
Hattie Fox Hattie Fox 5'9" | CG Osceola | 2023 State WI -5’10 G/F-’23-Osceola: The Osceola junior has performed, numbers-wise, as well as anyone early on. Fox’s most recent game against Amery may be the most impressive scoring performance this season. In a 41 point performance, Fox was surgically precise, shooting eight of twelve from the field and five of five from three along with going 10 of 12 from the free-throw line. I don’t expect Fox to be that precise every game but knowing she has a performance like that in her is impressive.
Kayl Petersen Kayl Petersen 6'1" | PF Waupun | 2024 State WI -6’1 F-’24-Waupun: I usually don’t want to bring the same players too often, but Petersen still hasn’t decided that she wants to hit the rim yet. Kayl is a three-level scorer who has averaged 24.5 points on 73% shooting from the field, which is absurd. Petersen has only shot six free throws in the Warriors four games. Surely she’ll cool down eventually, but as of now, Petersen has been the most lethal scorer in the state, and it’s not close.
