Alicea Farmer-2023-Dan River
Alicea has been putting up big numbers this season. This week she had a near quadruple double with 24pts, 11 rebounds, 12 steals and 7 assists in a tight win. Standing almost 6’ at the guard position her length created problems defensively. She anticipated well, creating steals and deflections providing her team with valuable possessions. She followed up later in the week with another stat stuffing game with 15pts, 8rebounds, 7 assists and 6 steals.
Myla Green-2023-Salem
Speedy point guard, her aggressive defense created multiple scoring opportunities for her team. She pushed the ball in transition knowing when to score and dish off to teammates. Myla is a sprinter for Salem track team and she utilizes that speed to her advantage in transition. Myla is having a productive season for Salem high school impacting many facets of the game.
Comari Mitchell-2024-Western Branch
Super athletic, strong body. Showed her ability to score the ball from anywhere on the court. She was dangerous in transition, too athletic and smooth with the ball for her opponent to stop. Her slick handle allowed her to get past defenders with crossovers, hesitation and change of direction. She finished with 21 in a close with over Lakeland.
Nalani Simmons Nalani Simmons 5'9" | SF Deep Creek | 2023 State VA -2023-Deep Creek
Posted two triple doubles with stat lines of 21pts, 14 rebounds and 12 assists in a win against Norfolk Collegiate and followed it up with 14pts, 11 assists and 10 rebounds in a win against Nansemond River. Strong week for the do it all guard.
Keegan Morris Keegan Morris 5'8" | SG St. Anne's Belfield | 2026 State VA -2025-Virginia Episcopal School
Keegan has had a great week of basketball, capped with a 21point performance knocking down 5 3’s on Saturday. She showed a well rounded game this weekend, averaging 6 steals to go with 4 assists and 4 rebounds. She knows how to get open, moves without the ball to get to her spots on the court. She has a nice float game to compliment her 3pt shooting.
