Conway HS vs Myrtle Beach HS

Prep Girls Hoops took in a game last night on the Grand Strand last night down on the coast. The Conway HS Lady Tigers made the trip down to the Beach to play the Lady Seahawks. Sophomore<strong> [player_tooltip player_id="365061" first="Euniya" last="Knox"]</strong> really came to play for the Lady Seahawks. Knox was very efficient all night long with her play from about 2 feet in from the basket. Knox finished with 19 points and 7 rebounds according to my unofficial stats. Myrtle Beach HS defeated the Lady Tigers 41-29. Euniya was in the right place all night long to make plays if it was scoring buckets on put-backs or picking up a rebound. <em><strong>Seniors In The Game </strong></em> <a href="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/pgh/uploads/2021/12/67D7EE11-ADED-4E4E-B513-0D26E273AA9F-crop-970x637-1639594734.jpeg"><img class="alignnone size-medium wp-image-365069" src="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/pgh/uploads/2021/12/67D7EE11-ADED-4E4E-B513-0D26E273AA9F-crop-970x637-1639594734-300x197.jpeg" alt="" width="300" height="197" /></a> <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="299568" first="Saniah" last="Richardson"]</strong> a post player for the Lady Tigers really brought her hard hat tonight to play. Richardson finished with 8 points, 12 rebounds and 3 blocks. Saniah is still a RAW talent who will continue to get better. Richardson was able to post-up with her back to the basket and go finish with her left-hand at the bucket on a regular basis tonight. She has really soft hands while playing from side to side down on the block. Saniah has good length and won’t hesitate to dive on the floor. Richardson will be a future Stock Riser down the road and make some college coach happy in the years to come. The Lady Tigers started tonight (2) 8th graders and a Freshman with Richardson on the floor. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="124097" first="Shillae" last="Campbell"]</strong> and <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="175357" first="Zaria" last="Dennis"]</strong> provide leadership for the Lady Seahawks. Campbell a crafty point guard is back from injury and running the show out top for Myrtle Beach HS. Dennis likes to extend the defense and place face-up from the elbow in while probably being the tallest player on the Lady Seahawks roster. Zaria finished with 9 points this evening while Campbell finished with just 4 points and some big assists down the stretch. <em><strong>Plenty Of Future Talent Down The Road </strong></em> <a href="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/pgh/uploads/2021/12/4F428615-1871-4661-979C-C2B8AB68C656-crop-809x531-1639594803.jpeg"><img class="alignnone size-medium wp-image-365070" src="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/pgh/uploads/2021/12/4F428615-1871-4661-979C-C2B8AB68C656-crop-809x531-1639594803-300x197.jpeg" alt="" width="300" height="197" /></a> <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="175335" first="Jasmyn" last="Jenkins"]</strong> (FR) is a left-handed guard who looks to be part of the future plans for Lady Seahawks Head Coach Jennifer Dennison. Jasmyn tends to play better off the ball at times and likes to slash to the cup or look to pop up with a perimeter jumper. Jenkins has some previous varsity experience heading into this season and will only continue to progress down the road in due time. <strong>Kiandra Green</strong> was a new name for Prep Girls Hoops last night for the Conway HS Lady Tigers. Green a sophomore finished the evening leading the way with 11 points tonight for Head Coach Tymesha Hosch.
