A formidable offensive weapon at her height, Eschmeyer showcased her consistent jumper off the catch or from pull-up opportunities. Effective dribbling into jumpers from the mid-range, her high release point is about as impossible to contain as anything on the court. Defensively, she remains a constant threat to swat away the ball or at the least alter shot attempts. She brings one of the most versatile skill sets among combo forwards in the state, especially so for her height advantage.

Eschmeyer remains one of the most productive two-way prospects in the state. Effective backing down opponents for turnaround hooks and high hand finishes past contests, she remained highly effective in her departing round. While operating out of the post, she held a large responsibility facilitating cutting teammates. She even showcased a bit of her shotmaking off the bounce, getting to a couple dribble pull-ups. The forward posted 14 points and 13 rebounds in her dominant performance versus Holy Family.

One of the top prospects in the state, Eschmeyer brings a unique style of play at her size. Defensively, she is a prolific rim protector either from help side or defending against a driving opponent at the point of attack. Equally valuable in maintaining her position in the post, there are only a handful of frontcourt opponents in the state capable of matching up with her. Eschmeyer is far and away the most consistent perimeter shooter in the state for her size, truly a matchup nightmare for opponents.

Alexandra is as persistent as they come and her game seems to grow much more than anyone could’ve imagined over the last year. She is consistent at all 3 levels of the floor and has gotten a lot better at attacking defenders well in transition. Defensively she has become a player who uses her length and strength to force you into tight spaces in the half-court which creates turnovers and run outs for guards. With the start of the season, Alexandra looks primed and ready to lead Peak to Peak to deep into the post season.

Eschmeyer is no longer the state’s best-kept secret the 6’5 lefty can do it all on the court, in which is why she has become one of the best prospects in the nation. This Hoopster team has plenty of names that are capable players, but it seemed to go as far as Alexandra would take them, she didn’t show any weaknesses in her game from an offensive standpoint scoring at all 3 levels with ease. Passing out of double teams and sitting up teammates for great looks taking some of the pressure off of her offensively.

Alex has extremely rare length at her 6-4 height. Her arms are long and she can run and move on top of that. Her size alone has her on college coaches’ radars. A high volume scorer, but hit 28 threes on the season at 33%. A strong rebounder that comes away with the ball often, with 10.4 rpg. Can play inside and outside offensively, and defensively, can defend inside and on the perimeter. Can play off the shooter and still use her length to contest, alter, and block shots. There’s a lot of room for growth and upside in her game.
