Having a player like Mason buy into the system is quiet the testament to the strength and depth of her GRIT team. Mason was a force to be reckoned with in the paint and even able to create for herself off the dribble at times with a favorable matchup. When she wasn’t scoring on the offense end of the floor she was controlling the glass on the defensive end of the floor. With the performances she was able to have this season, she will surely be looking to carry that over into the season.

A steady and impactful frontcourt option for Legend, Borcherding was all over the glass, securing second chance opportunities or holding onto the box out. One of the more alert passers not only in the 2025 class but among all frontcourt athletes in the state, Borcherding constantly has her head on a swivel. Efficient with either hand in the paint following a pivot move with or without contact. Comfortable stepping into the 15-foot jumper when provided space, she has been capable of rising up for those spot-up attempts above the contest when available.

One of the premier 6A forwards this season, Borcherding’s impact on the glass and the halfcourt offense has been essential to Legend’s recent success. Landing in the top-20 in 6A for rebounds per game, at 8, she brings both a high motor alongside the consistent use of the fundamentals. Out of the post, she keeps her head up to make timely kickouts or skip passes should help arrive.
