Trinniti Matthews Trinniti Matthews 5'11" | SF Francis Howell Central | 2022 State MO (Francis Howell Central): The 6’0″ Webster University recruit averaged nearly 20 points a game in the tournament in leading the Spartans to the championship. She was disruptive on defense with her length at the top of her team’s 1-3-1 zone defense. She’s an excellent slasher who can get into the lane and score at a lot of different angles. She has also taken up more ball handling and playmaking duties this season and she’s handled it well
Rylee Denbow Rylee Denbow 6'0" | SF Francis Howell Central | 2022 State MO (Francis Howell Central): The 6’0″ Quincy U. recruit averaged 15 points in the tournament, including 14 points and nine rebounds in the championship game against Westminster. She is a big matchup problem with her height and perimeter skills. She had a quick first step to get to the basket and 3-point range to go along with it. She was also very good defensively on the back line with her anticipation and ability to steal passes.
Carlie Vick Carlie Vick 6'2" | C Westminster | 2022 State MO (Westminster): The 6’2″ Florida Atlantic recruit averaged 12 points and seven rebounds in the tournament. She did a nice job protecting the middle with her shot blocking on the defensive end. Her length and timing inside were excellent. Her post moves are solid and she has a nice shooting touch from 12 to 15 feet. She is also an excellent passer from the high post.
Maggie Illig (Troy): The 5’7″ guard averaged 15 points and seven rebounds in leading the Trojans to a third-place finish in the tournament. She is an excellent 3-point shooter who moves well without the ball and does her work getting open and making herself shot ready when she catches the ball. It was impressive to watch.
Reilly Brophy (Westminster): The 5’6″ point guard averaged five assists in helping lead the Wildcats to a runner-up finish. The lefty has become the Wildcats’ full-time point guard after an injury to standout guard Brooke Highmark Brooke Highmark 5'8" | PG Westminster | 2022 State MO during the late summer. She has solid handles and she makes good decisions. She is also a knock-down shooter from 3-point range. She hit a pair of triples in the championship game against Howell Central.
Sara Means (Troy): The 5’10″ guard averaged 11 points and eight rebounds in leading the Trojans to a third-place finish. Her size and versatility enable her to excel inside and on the perimeter. She operates well from the high post where she can deliver a pinpoint pass or hit a defender with an up-fake and a drive to the hoop for a bucket. Her footwork is good and she has a nice feel for the game.
