She can score from deep both off the catch and off the dribble, creating space with ease. Angelys may be undersized, but she makes up for it with extreme physicality and a tough mentality. She lowers her shoulders and uses her strength to push past defenders to the basket while also being an extremely capable ball handler who gives defenders no chance at stealing the ball. Her passing ability and knowledge of the game show that Angelys has a wealth of experience playing in all different situations, making her a reliable presence on the court.

An incredibly dynamic point guard that is a high usage player. She can be productive is high pace games or even slow the tempo down to perform in halfcourt sets. The shot-creator makes head turning plays on a consistent basis. Alvarez’s has also added on strength to her frame over the offseason which should only take the 3-level scoring capability she already has to another level. The young Winchendon guard has all the qualities of a top tier competitor. She competes on the defensive end and is a natural leader on the floor, not only by her dominate presence, but her downright thoroughness within her game. The ’27 bubbling star is certainly one that’ll remain on the radar.

Alvarez is a crafty tough and skilled point Guard. She has tight ball handling skills and has a variety of dribble moves to get by the defense. She had some strong takes to the rim in the scrimmage, and also stepped outside to hit a few three pointers. She is a playmaking guard, with a good skill set for a floor general. She is a player with a high motor, and someone you can trust to make the right decision running the offense.
