Below are PGH Wisconsin’s Division 3 All-State Teams. The format is three guards and two forwards on every team, along with our Player of the Year. Below the All-State Teams are an All-Defensive Team and Honorable Mentions.

1st Team All-State

Forwards

[player_tooltip player_id="209617" first="Kayl" last="Petersen"]-6’1 F-’24-Waupun
Petersen is possibly coming off of being the most influential performer in the D3 state tournament. When she gets going, there’s nothing that a defense can do. Petersen averaged 16.9 points, 9.4 rebounds, 3.1 assists, 1.1 steals, and 2.2 blocks per game.
[player_tooltip player_id="132375" first="Grace" last="Schmidt"]-6’1 F-’22-Watertown Luther Prep
The senior was one of the most dominant posts in Wisconsin. The future Cal Baptist forward averaged 21.5 points, 10.7 rebounds, 2.8 assists, and 2.0 steals per game.

Guards

[player_tooltip player_id="155422" first="Abbie" last="Aalsma"]-5’9 G-’22-Waupun
The future Illinois State Redbird finished off her high school career with a state title, which feels right. I suggest finding a stream from the Warriors’ playoff matchup with Kewaskum. She was unbelievable. The senior averaged 21.2 points, 4.3 rebounds, 3.6 assists, and 3.2 steals per game.
[player_tooltip player_id="342100" first="Sadie" last="Jarmolowicz"]-5’10 G-’23-Freedom
The Irish point guard can do everything. In my opinion, Jarmolowicz is possibly the most underrated guard in Wisconsin. She can be special next season. Jarmolowicz averaged 16 points, 3.9 rebounds, 5.5 assists, 3.4 steals, and 1.4 blocks per game.
(POY) [player_tooltip player_id="132379" first="Lily" last="Krahn"]-5’10 G-’22-Prairie du Chien
The future Wisconsin Badger is the PGH Wisconsin D3 player of the year. Krahn had an absurd shooting season this year. Krahn joined the exclusive 50/50/90 club, shooting over 50% from the field and 3-point line and over 90% from the free-throw line. Krahn averaged 20.6 points, 4.5 rebounds, 5.2 assists, and 3.2 steals per game.

2nd Team All-State

Forwards

[player_tooltip player_id="155424" first="Megan" last="Alexander"]-6’0 F-’22 Freedom
The future South Dakota Mines forward helped her team to the state title game this season. The Freedom senior is a versatile post. Alexander averaged 13.5 points and 6.0 rebounds as a senior.
[player_tooltip player_id="156081" first="Madilyn" last="Dogs"]-6’0 F-’23-Kewaskum
The Kewaskum forward is one of the few kids I can say could guard almost anyone in Wisconsin. Dogs’ offensive game came a long way this season. She averaged 13.7 points, 7.2 rebounds, 2.6 assists, 4.0 steals, and 1.5 blocks.

Guards

[player_tooltip player_id="329557" first="Grace" last="Schisel"]-5’7 G-’23-New Holstein
The New Holstein guard was the No. 6 scorer in the state. Schisel averaged 24.2 points, 3.3 rebounds, 2.9 assists, and 2.2 steals.
[player_tooltip player_id="262972" first="Grace" last="Lomen"]-5’9 G-’22-Catholic Memorial
The future UW-Parkside guard did everything at Catholic Memorial and led her team in every statistical category this season. Lomen averaged 20.7 points, 10.9 rebounds, 3.0 assists, 3.7 steals, and 1.7 blocks per game.
[player_tooltip player_id="155779" first="Ja’Cia" last="Cunningham"]-5’9 G-’22-Milwaukee Academy of Languages
The future Chicago State guard was one of the best high-usage players in the state. Cunningham, in my opinion, was the top performer in Milwaukee last season. She averaged 21.1 points, 7.1 rebounds, 4.3 assists, 4.9 steals, and 1.0 blocks per game.

3rd Team All-State

Forwards

[player_tooltip player_id="264920" first="Ayianna" last="Johnson"]-6’3 F-’23-Jefferson
Johnson would win the most improved award if I handed that out. She averaged 17.8 points, 12.3 rebounds, 1.6 assists, 1.3 steals, and 1.0 blocks per game.
Bella Pitta-6’3 F-’23-Lake Mills
The L-Cat received a more substantial role this season and thrived. Pitta averaged 14.4 points, 12.3 rebounds, 1.3 steals, and 1.9 blocks.

Guards

[player_tooltip player_id="204129" first="Leah" last="Lemke"]-5’8 G-’22-Wrightstown
The future UW-Oshkosh Titan plays with as high a basketball IQ as anyone I’ve seen play in the state. Lemke averaged 16.3 points, 4.7 rebounds, 3.5 assists, and 2,2 steals per game.
[player_tooltip player_id="266986" first="Molly" last="Janke"]-5’10 G/F-’24-Ellsworth
Janke is one of the best two-way prospects in the state. This season, the Ellsworth guard improved her shooting a great deal. Janke averaged 18.9 points, 10.3 rebounds, 3.5 assists, and 3.1 steals per game.
[player_tooltip player_id="204146" first="Jayla" last="Butler"]-5’7 G-’22-Milwaukee Academy of Languages
The future Bellarmine guard was one of the best performers in Milwaukee this season. Butler averaged 15.5 points, 4.9 rebounds, 3.6 assists, and 4.4 steals per game.
