There were a lot of kids making plays for their respective club programs and competing. Take a look at some of the standouts that we’re at their best all weekend:
Brook Spychalski 5’11, Wing, Pink Elite Basketball
Spychalski is an all-around player that does her job both offensively and defensively. She has great length displaying shot-blocking ability and finishing through traffic. Brook is a great basketball player that uses her length and size to her advantage. She does a great job putting the basketball on the floor. Brook can also shoot it from the perimeter.
Addie prewitt 5’7, Scoring Guard, Midwest Elite EYBL
Prewitt has great footwork ability and gets into her shot before the defender can stop her. She is a strong combo guard that can rebound and score inside. Prewitt has a really good basketball IQ and knows how to take advantage of opportunities. She has a good motor and displays a lot of poise. Prewitt is a plug-and-play type of player that just fits wherever she is needed and good things happen. She has good poise in her game and doesn’t force much at all.
Nina Garner 5’11, Forward, City Elite Basketball
Garner has great length and finishes around the rim. She displayed Good feet and with her size, she makes it difficult for the offense. Garner does a good job finishing and not bringing the ball with or without traffic. She can control her body and does a phenomenal job communicating with her teammates. Garner is high energy, good work ethic, and has a purpose larger than herself. Keep a good eye on this young lady as she has all the intangibles to be great.
Brooklyn McKenzie 5’4, Point Guard, Wisconsin Playground Elite
McKenzie is a play-making “point, God”. She was one of the better true point guards I was able to see at the top of the crop. McKenzie not only wasn’t able to be stopped she created for others. She does a great job communicating and has high motor. Quiet off of the court for the most part and on the court is all business with all intentions of playing fearlessly and giving everything she has. Mckenzie is pretty impressive to watch with the basketball in her hands and doesn’t turn the ball over much at all. Young, but she is ready and she will continue to blossom into her own.
Jasonay Barnes 5’8, Point Guard, Wisconsin Playground Elite
Barnes has great size and strength at the point guard position. She is a floor general that can create for herself and others. Barnes is a tough point guard with playmaking ability that allows her to finish through contact. Barnes sticks out with her ability to finish with both hands, and how great of a poise she has in all situations all weekend. Look for her to be a high-level prospect soon Jasonay barnes is one everyone should know. She played up.
