Difficult day for the Lady Wildcats and Sodowsky. Often was tasked with trying to break Stillwater’s press. Which did lead to some moments of the senior using nifty dribble mobiles and improved handles. While naturally a scorer, and long distance shooter in particular, it was good to see she’s working on her all around game. Hopefully setting her up for better games ahead.

Ponca City tips off their season on Monday, and they have a scoring specialist ready to lead their charge. Generally these clips show a good job of putitng Sodowsky into spots where she can score with limited dribbles. Either quickly shooting from three or mid-range. Or only having to use a couple dribbles to utilize her soft touch on extended floaters. Liked the few instances of her making passes, as she should draw crowds of defenders with her scoring ability.

Considering that Sodowsky is based in northern Oklahoma, it checks out that Kansas programs would be interested in securing her service. This month, Bethel extended an offer to her. Which in June, Southwestern College also offered. The Ponca City Ladycat is a standout shooter. Who is also an all around competitor and was an efficient offensive producer this spring and summer.

Long shooting guard that can heat up quickly changing the outcome of the game. The shot mechanics are smooth and the release is pretty. She does a great job moving without the ball to find the open spot for the 3. Shooter with deep range that stretches the defense opening up driving lanes for teammates Scrappy guard that get on the floors for loose ball. Jasmine has received several offers during the first live period a strong showing this week could add some more offers in the mix

Scoring guard with good height and wingspan, which helps her on both ends of the floor. Patient on drives, capable of finishing with either hands. Nifty footwork and ball fakes can help her get the room to finish. Based on the plays she’s making on defense and as a rebounder, she stays very engaged. Leading to “right place, right time” longer rebounds, deflections and steals. The video does a good job of showcasing her impact on both ends of the floor.

A 3-point shooter that great height and length at 5’9 . The player that you must fight over the ball screen because of her ability to shoot on top of the screen. Good handles in the open floor that is looking for the gap to get to the paint. Impressive is the ability to get to the gap and finish with the running floater to avoid any blocks. Shoots at an extremely high percentage. Does not mind getting in for rebounds coming close to a double double.

A 5’9 shooter that has some range to her game. Good shooter off the bounce excels in a drive and kick offense. Feet and hands ready for the knock down 3. Doing some homework before posting she does have the catch and read jumper in her bag. Attacks downhill pulling up with a nice balance shot at the 15 ft mark. Ball handling skills are solid and good enough to help bring ball down if needed against the press being a taller guard.
Earned Honorable Mention All Conference this season. A player who fills up a stat sheet with double digit scoring and about 4-5 across the board on everything else. Already received an offer and with a good solid summer more could be expected

A tall guard with nice length. Combo guard that can shoot the 3 or attack the rim off the dribble. Moves well without the ball relocating to open spots on the floor. Nice footwork and shot mechanics on the 3 shot. She did not need any extra step or wasted motion on the shot. Attacked the rim and finished with either hand. Her length and instincts on defense allowed to get her hands on many balls.
