There are never enough post in the game of basketball. Plenty of guards to go around but the guard to post ratio has a huge gap! Watching two inside players go after it is one of the best sights to see in basketball! Many of us are already aware of some inside players like <strong>Taylen Collins, Emerie Ellis </strong>or the Arizona State commit, <strong>Kaitlyn Levings</strong>. Nonetheless, there are other post in our great state of Oklahoma that are definitely worth a mention. Each with their own distinct game which makes them special and for Prep Hoops Oklahoma to take notice, here's a look at some other inside players with game!
<strong>#4 Hope Johnson, Junior, 6’4, Center, OK Federal Ballerz</strong>
Nice size for anyone to have on a team. She moves very well up the court in transition. Her size disrupts players on both ends of the floor due to the fact that she’s very mobile. Moves her feet on the defense end to be able to guard players on the move. On the offensive end, she seals well on the low post.
<strong>#25 Kaylee Nero, Junior, 6’1, Forward, Edmond Santa Fe HS, OK PWP Elite 17U</strong><strong> </strong>
Kaylee inputs moves on the defender for days! She executes the move which is always readily followed up by a countermove. Great ability to finish with the proper hand every time. She has the ball always results in a finish or a trip the free throw line. Comfortable to handle the ball up the court if needed and handles the all well from high post and baseline.
<strong>#35 Graycen Holden, Junior, 6’2, Forward, Edmond North HS, OK Swarm 17U BlueStar Dave</strong>
Great decision making at all areas along the high post at the elbow or middle. Strong and solid body that moves aggressively towards the basket and often results in a lay-up. If she does not make it all the way to the basket, she executes counter moves if cut off or facilitates the ball for another play.
