I am wrapping up coverage for the Battle in the Big Friendly in the 14U division with the best of the rest. These are the players that caught my eye and stood out throughout the course of the weekend. Don't sleep on these names. They have potential and I expect many of them to have big summers and have their stock rise. Brianna McElwee | Forward | Rebel Elite 2025/Union | 2026 Brianna is in the class of 2026 but played up a division. She's an athletic forward that plays with an edge. She can operate out of the high post with a drive to the basket and rebounded the ball well. Defensively she was solid with the ability to guard multiple positions. Sadie Linn | Guard | Oklahoma Aces 2026 Carrington/Bridge Creek | 2026 Solid guard that runs the lane in the fastbreak and can finish in transition with either hand. Can catch and shoot the mid-range as well as the three-ball and applies good ball pressure on defense. Grace Nail | Wing | Tulsa Hawks 2026/Hilldale | 2026 Has a nice understanding of the game. Plays the game well without the ball. She knows when to cut, how to cut, and looks to score off her cut. Makes the catch and shoot three-pointer and can attack the defense off the dribble. Reagan Bowling | Post/Forward | Oklahoma Fusion 2026/Morris | 2026 Good size interior player that can make the elbow jumper. Attacks the offense boards hard and looks to secure a rebound for an easy putback. When on the perimeter she delivers passes to teammates that are on target. Sevyn Holloway | Wing/Forward | [program_tooltip program_id='715669' first='DC' last='Queens OKC'] 2026/Midwest City | 2026 A physical player that can post up smaller guards and defend bigger players on the block despite being undersized. Plays with a toughness that a lot of players don't have. She can also score off cuts, finish in transition, and make the three-pointer. Alecianna Engmann | Post | Lady Showtime 2027 | 2027 Alecianna is a competitive, athletic player that is going to play hard the whole game. She can be effective out of the mid-post by facing up and attacking or backing the defender down and scoring over her left shoulder. Paige Fulmer | Wing | Lady Showtime 2027 | 2027 Paige possesses a solid foundation of skills all wing players need. She can make the defense have to come out to the perimeter to guard her because she can make the three-pointer. She also is shifty with her dribble and can get to the basket for the finish. Addi Lawrence | Point Guard | Shock Select 2026/North Rock Creek | 2026 Addi is a flashy point guard with a shifty handle. She had the most moves, finishes, and creativity than anyone in the gym all weekend. She could get to the rim, shoot the three, and was a good playmaker. Chloe Hartzler | Guard | Kansas Bluejays 2026/Goddard | 2027 Chloe showed some really great patience and passing skills out of the pick and roll. She pushed the ball well in transition and also finished some plays herself. She could make the three and applied good ball pressure on defense. Torie Moore | Post | DC Queens 2026 | 2026 Torie rebounded the ball well on defense and was tough to keep off the offensive boards. She showed vision in the open court when she had the ball. She was a physical player in the post with good footwork that could score with her back to the basket. Vasiya Jones | Wing | DC Queens 2026 | 2027 Vasiya is an athlete. Her athleticism allowed her to excel on defense, specifically when guarding the ball. She gives total effort on the floor, going after 50/50 balls. Played with a lot of energy and finished plays in transition. Jakayla Walker | Guard | AKYB Academy 2026/Dardenelle | 2026 Jakayla showed that when she handled the ball and pushed in transition she could make plays for her team. She could attack off the catch in the half-court and finish with her left hand vs contact. Amarianna Solomon | Wing | Enid Lady Elite 2027/Longfellow | 2028 Amarianna can push it vs pressure defense. She plays with a lot of energy on both ends of the floor. She has the ability to play through contact and has good vision in transition. Mariah Heron | Guard | Enid Lady Elite 2027/Waller | 2027 Mariah showed she could handle the ball vs pressure and can really push it in transition. She played the game fast, but was under control. Knows when to slow down when there is no advantage in transition. Good change of speed off the dribble to get to the basket. Riki McQuarters | Guard | Id3ntitiy Elite 2026-Pitts/Sapulpa | 2026 Riki is an athletic guard that loves to go after rebounds. She can post up smaller guards and really gets out on the fastbreak. If she has the ball in her hands she'll make good decisions with the ball if she's running the lane, she'll finish. Bra'Nya Coulter | Guard | Id3ntitiy Elite 2026-Pitts/Wagoner | 2026 Bra'Nya has the handles to break down the defense off the dribble and get to the rim. She can also finish in traffic with a runner over the defense as they rotate over. She can make the three-pointer and plays the passing lanes well on defense. Elayne Gomez | Guard | Team United Texas 2026 | 2026 Elayne was a solid point guard who was a facilitator and distributor. She got everyone involved with her good passing ability. When she attacked off the dribble she showed she can finish at the rim. You also couldn't leave her open behind the three-point line because she could shoot the three.
