She has been named All-Academic All-State, ranked 2nd in her Senior Class in Illinois, and earned All-Conference honors for three consecutive years. Ezike was named Lyons Township MVP and holds multiple LT All-Time Records, including the most points scored in a single season, the most free throws made in a career, and being the 3rd highest scorer in LT history. She also holds the single-game scoring record at Lyons Township. Throughout her career, she averaged 21 points, 7.1 rebounds, and 2.4 assists, leading the Lions to a Class 4A regional championship. She broke the school record for points in a game with 40 against Prospect on Dec. 26 and for points in a single season with 713. She finished her career as the third-highest scorer in Lyons history with 1,449 points.

Yes, she’s a Stanford commit, so the expectations are high, but her growth and confidence can’t be ignored. She’s active on both sides of the ball, and if you break down the film, she’s probably responsible for over 50% of the team’s scoring.

Ezike has such a quiet and reserved aura about her, but the moment the ball is tossed up, you see a whole different side—a walking 15 and 10. Nora is easily coming off the best summer of her AAU career, and being placed on ESPN’s top 100 is a statement as well. With her commitment made mid-summer, Ezike now has her focus on this upcoming high school season. Leading a competitive Lyons Township team to a deep playoff run will be at the top of her goals.

Securing an offer from Stanford is no small achievement. Stanford is known for producing some of the best athletic forwards in the country, and Nora has a chance to enter that circle. Beyond receiving an offer of that caliber, Ezike has truly improved her skill set. A true workhorse in the gym, she is a player that any coach would love to have as part of their program. Respectful, dedicated to her craft, top-tier in her academics, and an amazing teammate—Ezike is the total package for any program.

Closing out the first live period with two more offers added to her list, Ezike has been showing up in each game. The handles have gotten stronger, her ability to get to the rim has gotten quicker and her body control around the rim has been consistent. The big offers aren’t a surprise, this kid is easily one of the best players/prospects in the state, regardless of her class. Adding the 12-17ft jumper to her package will put a ton of pressure on the defense.

A rare type of player who has all the size of a post, but the speed of a guard. Shes active on the boards, a headache in the open floor, and defensively can switch and guard multiple styles. Solid footwork around the rim, explosive on the attack and shows the confidence to shoot the short jumpers.

Less of a drop down and more of a “time is needed to see if the skillset will translate seamlessly. The athleticism, the work ethic and the size will transfer with no issue, finding ways to be effective on every possession will be key. Ezikes versatility will be on full display this high school season with a talented and competitive program. Seeing her play in different roles and spots will be great for college coaches and scouts to see. The potential is high

Ezike has a strong argument for having the best spring season in this class. With a huge amount of her offers being secured over the past couple of months, colleges are noticing the size and speed that she possesses. Defensively she covers the entire court. She has the ability to guard 3-5, and she can chase down the guards. Offensively, the skill work with the ball will grow as her position changes, but the pressure she puts on the defense in the open court and in the paint can’t be overlooked.

Clearly the best prospect in her class when you mix the talent with the size. Ezike is a solid 6’2 and can switch into another gear like a guard. She can do everything well.. which makes her potential even scarier. Multiple games this circuit season Ezike proved why the huge leap as THE top player in 2025 class is justified.

A full 180 from the last time i saw Ezike. She was really good then… but she is DIFFERENT now. Her agility, athleticism, scoring and defensive abilities are one thing.. but it’s the composure she plays with that makes her so fun to watch. In Sunday’s star studded game against the Fire, Nora was clearly one of the best players on the court.. she would get trapped & fouled consistently .. but her attitude never changed. Players like that will go far. This game is mental and the way she stays even killed through everything.. is amazing. So excited to follow her career.
