Molly was on fire from 3 point distance at DCDHS Fall League during her week one games. She hit about 5 triples in her first game, including a college distance wing 3 off one foot at the buzzer. Molly threw an accurate overhead pass to a cutter from the perimeter and pulled up confidently to drill a volleyball line three off the dribble. Molly is a sniper who has to be accounted for on the offensive end at all times.

McLeod recently received an offer from Siena Heights University. STEAL. I wouldn’t be shocked at all to see a player like McLeod be an instant impact player. I say “steal” because I think that she is a big time talent. She’s been taking over games with her jumper for years now and I’ve seen her do it on some big stages. McLeod is simply one of the most explosive shooters in the state.

McLeod can light up a scoreboard like the fireworks on the 4th of July light up the sky. She has the ability to take over games with her jumper and has shown that she carries volleyball line type of range. If McLeod hits just one 3 pointer, get your phones out.

Molly was deadly from beyond the arc for the Mustangs at the Mega Scrimmage, but she also showed she can win one on one battles to score inside. She was on fire hitting 3’s all over the floor and demonstrated great poise handling the ball under pressure.

shot lights out for the Mustangs in their matchup with crosstown rival Bloomfield Hills. She started off the game making a corner 3, deep 2, and wing 3. By the end of the game, Molly made 6 three pointers and finished with 22 points. Her clutch shooting put Marian on track for the victory and opened up the inside.

Can someone guard her please? Molly will bring the ball up the court, feed the post, then as soon as she catches you napping…bang! She can pull up from the volleyball line and step into one if you aren’t pressuring her. Molly also creates a problem for defenses as she runs through elevator screens and spots up around the arc. The post play at Marian creates nonstop situations where she can utilize her step back dribble to get an open look. Molly loads up to shoot with a balanced, powerful stance, shooting in rhythm using a high follow through. See her light it up with Marian this fall! Read more from our staff about Molly here.

McLeod has been in the press plenty this spring. She’s an elite player, playing elite level basketball. She’s absolutely been filling it up with her jumper. But at the PGH Top 250, she can show the state of Michigan, and beyond that, the fact that she’s a legit combo guard that can more than effectively handle the ball at the point and get it where it needs to go.

McLeod is a player to keep an eye on this spring and summer. She can flat out shoot and score the ball and she did both last weekend with Michigan Crossover. McLeod was able to shoot both off the dribble and off the catch. In 3 games, she averaged just under 14 points per contest.
