The Exclusive: Dynasty Region Breakout Players

I have been doing this for a very long time, evaluating players and after a college coach walked out of my daughter's game in the 8th grade after she missed a couple of shots and called a week later saying she was offering her a scholarship, I said, but coach you left after she missed two jumpers and committed a foul and she responded, "yeah but she had 3 steals, 3 assists, was vocal on the court and supported her teammates" she also added "Mr. Colson, there are more important things than scoring and it only takes me 2 minutes to see a real player" and that conversation helped changed my views on everything which is why I'm so good now, it ain't bragging if it's true so who elevated their games Aaliyah Scott-5'4 PG (Lewisville HS) Team Stay Ready 2023 [2024] Scott has IQ by her name and she runs the 1 figure that one out, hold one out, hold on, the game starts at the 1, and her ability to run her team and handle the ball under pressure was definitely an eye-opener yet her court vision, crisp passes on the money in traffic just had me smiling, so was her attacking off the dribble to score or dish. Good athleticism even applied "on the ball" pressure on the defensive end, nice upside Taylor Wilson-5'9 SF (Copperas Cove HS) Team Stay Ready 2023) [2024] Wilson has BODY and yes, she's strong and powerful but let me also add she understands how to use her body around the basket but I would expect no less because her coaches are #THROWBACK so seeing her "go after the ball off the rim" gives her that hashtag as well as she rebounded strongly and finished the same way on putbacks. Even more impressive was seeing her attack off the dribble and finish after contact Amani Lipscomb-5'2 PG (Maize South HS) Oklahoma Swift 2024-Mathurin Lipscomb just had me rolling as she flew through the lanes to elevate over much taller players, some above "the magic number' which is 6'0 yet she plays with so much poise and energy, on both ends that it trickles over to her teammates. She's a menace on defense but she also can handle being pressured baseline to baseline while handling the ball and I guess her court vision would have been the icing on the cake until I saw her explosive first step to score Aleah Moree-6'2 C (Winfield HS) Oklahoma Swift 2024-Mathurin Moree is another strong rebounder that understands the importance of "going after the ball" off the rim, I love that yet I also loved her getting the break going with the outlet as well as running the floor, on both ends. She showed some nice moves around the basket to score, she also faced the basket and scored as well but her interior defense was nice also Tailor Perkins-5'8 PF (Aldine Davis) Houston Lady Nets 2024 Perkins gets #THrOWBACK simply because she believes she's at "the magic number" and plays like it and trust me, you will not outwork her, she goes after everything, off the rim or on the floor so her battling while being under control is just fun to watch, so is her scoring on the inside with players literally hanging on her back, this includes attacking off the dribble or on putbacks
