16u Standouts At The Great Lakes Challenge – Part 2

She's a strong and powerful guard that can play the game effectively at a high speed. Banks plays through contact and can draw fouls on offense and can defend the entire length of the court as well. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="281850" first="Jade" last="Blanchard"] (2024, PR1DE 2024, Marine City)</strong> Blanchard's performance just can't be kept under the radar! She was flat out terrific over the weekend. Blanchard proved that she could score in a multitude of different ways. I saw her hit an acrobatic bucket, multiple 3's, a mid range jumper, as well as from the free throw line. Blanchard also showed great defensive principles when she slid across the lane and effectively helped on an opponent penetrating the lane with the ball. <strong>Avery Collins (2024, MSF Flight 2024, Blissfield)</strong> Collins showed a lot of upside as a prospect. She's a high IQ guard that likes to pick and pry at the defense and find her opportunities. Collins looked very comfortable working a defender in a 1 on 1 matchup. <strong>Noelle Ebel (2026, TC Elite 2024, Brighton)</strong> Ebel definitely caught my eye at the Great Lakes Challenge. She was a versatile defender that really looked like she could cover a few different positions with success. Ebel also showed the ability to score in the open floor. <strong>Breayah Jefferson (2024, HYPE Athletics 2024 Red, Rogers)</strong> Jefferson was a playmaking athlete this weekend. She could really control the feel and the pace of the game. I was impressed with Jefferson's explosiveness on offense and her footwork on D. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="418383" first="Maeve" last="Nolan"] (2024, Berkley, Michigan Goonies 2024)</strong> Nolan caught my eye as an energy and effort player for the Michigan Goonies. She came to the gym ready to play and she brought it on both ends of the floor. Nolan was that type of player that makes it hard for a coach to take her out of the game because of her influence on both ends. <strong>Kamaria Page (2025, Michigan Lady Playmakers 2024, Southfield A &amp; T)</strong> Page was one of the quickest players in the gym over the weekend. She has a different level type of burst with the ball in her hands and she can use that skill in a variety of ways. Page has a chance to be a special floor general. &nbsp;
