The Class of 2022 has a really nice mix of wings, and currently our Top-250 is home to 55 small forward prospects who make up 22.0% of all 2022 prospects ranked in Indiana. Among this group are point forwards, shooters, slashers, multilevel scorers, and talented, versatile athletes. Below is a look at those 55 prospects, as well as some added information and analysis on a handful of girls who have stood out since our last rankings update in January.

Gary West Side | 2022
State
IN
, 2022, 5-7 SF, Gary West Side Leadership Academy
– Sarah might appear to be a little undersized at first glance, but she is a nice on-the-floor North/South athlete, she has good strength, and she plays with a motor. She can also score the ball at all three levels, and she’ll defend with effort. She put together a pair of nice seasons at West Side to end her career, including averaging 13.9 points, 9.2 rebounds, 2.6 assists, and 3.4 steals per game in 2021-2022.

Bishop Luers | 2022
State

, 2022, 5-9 SF, Fort Wayne Bishop Luers H.S.
– Anna also finished her career strong, averaging double-figure points (13.6 ppg) for the first time, to go along with 8.0 rebounds, 3.6 assists, and 2.0 steals per game. She found herself contributing all over the floor for Luers, whether it was to play an undersized ’4’ role, score the ball in the mid-post, or even keep defenses honest with the occasional 3-pointer. And she always did it with a nice motor.
Keep an eye on…
Emily Adamowicz

University | 2022
State
IN
, 2022, 5-9 SF, University H.S.
– Emily has been one of the state’s best “Swiss Army Knives” throughout her career. She is capable of playing most positions & roles, and she showcases a well-balanced skillset. She can handle and initiate the offense at times, she can knock down an open jumper, and she can attack the rim for scores. She plays with a great motor, and she willingly defends ’2’ through ’4’, depending on what her team needs.

South Bend Washington | 2022
State
IN
, 2022, 5-8 SF, South Bend Washington H.S.
– Shamarah is a long, wiry-strong athlete. She plays with a nice motor and makes so many plays because of her ability to run, jump, and change directions quickly. I love her potential to become a multipositional defender at the next level, as she will defend the ball, but she will also fight to “front” the post, and she has a nose for the ball. Offensively, she is more of a slasher right now, but she can finish in traffic.
Jessie Ringen

5'9" | SF
Rensselaer Central | 2022
State
IN
, 2022, 5-9 SF, Rensselaer Central H.S.
– Jessie has shown tremendous growth in her skillset over her four-year career. She has a strong, athletic frame, she can run & jump with the best of them, but it has been her transformation from overpowering defenders inside when she was younger, to now being a dangerous perimeter threat with the ability to bury jump-shots or attack the basket and finish strong. She could be a real “steal” at this point in time.
Jordyn Sarver

Mitchell | 2022
State
IN
, 2022, 5-9 SF, Mitchell H.S.
– Jordyn is somewhat hidden down in the foothills of Indiana, but she has real talent and upside. She has an athletically strong frame, some length, and she is another run-and-jump athlete who plays with a motor. She has typically been more of a slasher throughout her career because of her athleticism, but each year she gets a little better knocking down shots from the perimeter. She’s also a versatile defender.
