2025 Rankings, Players on the move

The 2025 rankings recently came out.  Here are a few off the rankings that have caught my eye and are players on the move. [caption id="attachment_380753" align="alignleft" width="260"]<img class="size-medium wp-image-380753" src="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/pgh/uploads/2022/01/Siarah-Johnson-DP-2025-260x300.jpg" alt="" width="260" height="300" /> Photo: Brennan Koller Brennankoller.com[/caption] <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="249436" first="Sariah" last="Johnson"]</strong> 2025 PF Doctor Phillips/J Sizzle (PGH 18) A highly ranked player on the 2022 State Champion Doctor Phillip Panther squad.  Johnson is a tough player that has nose for the ball.  Going hard to get the rebound and lose balls.  A smooth jump shot with a feathery touch.  She has a nice attack move that gets her to the basket. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="409186" first="Holland" last="Harris"]</strong> 2025 PF Lake Nona/Hoops Dream Elite (PGH 60) Harris, a long post that is aggressive to attack the basket.  She runs the floor well, getting easy buckets in transition.  Has the ability to finish at the basket with either hand, getting put backs on offensive rebounds. <strong><img class="size-medium wp-image-402019 alignright" src="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/pgh/uploads/2022/03/Heaven-Sims-225x300.jpg" alt="" width="225" height="300" /></strong> &nbsp; <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="248451" first="Heaven" last="Sims"]</strong> 2025 PF Winter Springs/OBC (PGH 64) Sims is a smooth wing combo guard that can get to the basket with spin moves, euro steps and other crafty moves.  A smooth stroke from the outside.  She can handle the ball very well for her position, creating opportunities for her teammates. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="249437" first="Olivia" last="Staples"]</strong> 2025 SG Freedom/BSO (PGH 66) The lefty Staples has a nice jump shot that comes out of her hand very nicely.  She is consistent in hitting the 3 ball along with the mid-range.  A very crafty guard that passes the ball well, getting her teammates involved in the game. <strong><img class="size-medium wp-image-378565 alignleft" src="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/pgh/uploads/2022/01/AAliyah-Bailey-Seminole-2024-225x300.jpg" alt="" width="225" height="300" />Aalyah Bailey</strong> 2025 SG Seminole/New Wave (PGH 141) Bailey is a tough player that can get to the basket using various moves.   She has a confident jump shot that she can shoot off the dribble or in transition.  A tough defender that gets into the face of the opponent, and causes many turnovers. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="346863" first="Amaya" last="Mitchell"]</strong> 205 PF Horizon (PGH 196) A lanky forward for the Hawks.  She controls the middle of the floor, getting blocks and forcing bad shots.  She has the ability to dribble the ball and be a point-forward for the young Horizon team.  A high energy player that runs the floor.
