<strong>Player Rankings Update: 2025 New Additions Pt. 1 </strong>
<strong>No. 19 – 5-7 PG [player_tooltip player_id="426689" first="Cornelia" last="Ellington"] – Decatur
</strong>The Class 5A Freshman of the Year dropped in 16.6 points, 5.3 rebounds, 2.5 assists and 4.3 steals per game. Ellington is a great athlete. She changes speeds well and can both get to the basket and shoot the outside shot. She is an improving three-point shooter. Cornelia has upside as a playmaker. With the attention she draws, she can excel and sucking in the defense and finding the open man.
<strong>No. 24 – 5-10 PG [player_tooltip player_id="413431" first="Jesstynie" last="Scott"] – Schley County
</strong>Scott ripped through Class A-Public, piling in 18.7 points, 4.7 rebounds, 5.1 assists and 5 steals per game. Already with a Flagler offer in hand, Scott is one of the classifications’ best players. She has a chance to really blossom with more reps against competition.
<strong>No. 36 – 5-9 SG [player_tooltip player_id="426639" first="Indigo" last="Brown"] – Eagle’s Landing
</strong>Big physical guard can do damage around the rim. Indigo is a strong driver that can absorb contact and finish And-1s. She’s an effective rebounder and a valuable multipositional defender.
<strong>No. 42 – 5-10 PF [player_tooltip player_id="406454" first="Ashley" last="Hill"] – George Walton Academy
</strong>One of the best low block scorers in her class, Hill has great footwork with her back to the basket. She uses her strength to set up defenders and can bury them with drop steps and up-and-unders. She seals hard and is a reliable rebounder.
<strong>No. 52 – 6-1 C [player_tooltip player_id="428098" first="Lauren" last="Phillip"] – Campbell
</strong>Phillip is long and strong. She will be an important rebounder and rim protector from Day 1 at the varsity level. She moves well and shows signs of a burgeoning offensive game. Phillip has great tools to work with.
<strong>No. 53 – 5-5 PG [player_tooltip player_id="426668" first="Marissa" last="Holder"] – Piedmont Academy
</strong>Tucked away in the GISA, Holder put up 18.9 points, 8 rebounds, 4.9 assists and 3.2 steals per game. She’s strong and compact with big shoulders she can use to barrel past defenders. Her strength also helps her on the backboards where she rebounds bigger than her size. Holder scores from all over the floor with a deadly jump shot. She drained 87 threes at a 33% clip last season.
