2023 Back Court Stock-Risers

5’5 G [player_tooltip player_id="65619" first="Ashiian" last="Hunter"] ( AZ Elite Gold/ Mesa HS): Hunter is an explosive point guard prospect in the class of 2023. She is electric with the basketball and is able to zoom past her defenders with her speed. Hunter also has the ability to shoot it from the perimeter. Defensively, she is so quick that it is nearly impossible to get past her. Her quick hands result in multiple steals for her team. Look for Hunter to have another outstanding season for Mesa High School. 5’7 G [player_tooltip player_id="208251" first="Katie" last="Burns"] (Tucson Rattlers/ Catalina Foothills HS): Burns is a really quick point guard. She loves to push the pace and try to get easy buckets for her team in transition. She always has her head up and has exceptional vision finding open teammates. Offensively, she can shoot it from 3, finish at the rim and shoot a floater over taller defenders in the lane. [player_tooltip player_id="208251" first="Katie" last="Burns"] is a high IQ basketball player. She is as exciting as it comes at the point guard position. 5’10 G [player_tooltip player_id="208047" first="Reilly" last="Clark"] (Tucson Rattlers/ Catalina Foothills HS): Clark is another elite prospect in the class of 2023. Clark averaged 17.8 pts, 7.7 rbs, and 2 asts a game during this past season. Clark is a silky smooth shooter from 3, shooting it at 44% this past year. Clark also has outstanding length at 5’10 and always seems to be in opposing teams passing lanes. Look for Clark to have a breakout senior year. Clark will be an impact player at the next level. 5’10 G [player_tooltip player_id="208253" first="Navine" last="Mallon"] ( Tucson Rattlers/ Flowing Wells HS): Mallon is an ELITE prospect in the class of 2023. Mallon can score it from anywhere on the court, defend at a very high level and rebound. She’s coming off an outstanding season. She averaged 16.5 pts, 12 rbs, and 3 stls a game. Mallon is tough as it gets when it comes to competitors. Look for her to build off her sensational junior campaign. Some college is going to be really lucky to land her. 5’7 G Makaylei Snyder (AZ Elite Black/ Sandra Day O’Conner): Snyder is a phenomenal shooter in the class of 2023. She is capable of playing the point as well as playing off the ball. Off the ball, Snyder is so good at relocating to open space to allow her teammates to find her. Defensively, Snyder plays low and uses her body well to stay in front of her matchup. Snyder is a really talented combo-guard in the class of 2023. 2023 5’11 [player_tooltip player_id="138096" first="Kaitlyn" last="Elsholz"] ( AZ Elite Black/Sandra Day O’Conner): Elsholz is a gamer. She can flat out score the basketball. She has the ability to finish in the lane through contact, pull-up off the dribble, and knock down shots from the perimeter. Defensively, she has great length and IQ. She has very quick hands and gets numerous deflections and steals. Elsholz is a top prospect in the class of 2023. 5’8 G [player_tooltip player_id="261416" first="Sage" last="Begay"] (AZ Elite Gold/ Flagstaff): Begay is an elite talent to watch play basketball. She is so smooth with the ball in her hands and seems to always make the right play with her high basketball IQ. She excels at both playing off the ball as well as bringing the ball up for her teams. She is a lights-out shooter as well as a very talented defender. Look for Begay to have a monster year for Flagstaff. 5’7 G [player_tooltip player_id="261402" first="Adriana" last="Bachman"] (Poston Butte)- Bachman is a win at all costs player. Bachman is the first to dive for a loose ball and help a teammate up. She is an elite defender that is very quick laterally and does a phenomenal job staying in front of her opponents. Offensively, she sees the court well and good things happen when she has the ball in her hands. She is willing to do anything for her team to win. Look for Bachman to have a big year and do whatever it takes for her team. 5’5 G Mia Amundson ( Lady Firestrom Nation/ Millenium HS): Amundson is a high IQ player. She makes great decisions with the ball and can really shoot it from the perimeter. She is also a great defender and rebounder. Look for Amundson to have a big year for Millenium. Amundson is a very talented perimeter player in the class of 2023.
