There's nothing quite like making a big splash in the big city on the biggest stage in the biggest games of your life. That's exactly what the Rohloff twins did in March as they led Hancock to the high school Class A State Championship in Minneapolis. We knew then that [player_tooltip player_id="453727" first="Kaitlyn" last="Rohloff"] and [player_tooltip player_id="453730" first="Karleigh" last="Rohloff"] would be making their way into the Prep Girls Hoops prospect rankings in due course. Now, at the first opportunity over three months later, we welcome the Rohloffs to the best of the Class of 2025 where they lead a collection of 26 newcomers into the Top 100 sophomores-to-be. Here's a look at the fresh faces.
#34 [player_tooltip player_id="453727" first="Kaitlyn" last="Rohloff"] & #65 [player_tooltip player_id="453730" first="Karleigh" last="Rohloff"] – Hancock (Comets Elite 2023)
Kaitlyn is the highest-ranked newcomer and one of just two fresh faces who cracked the Top 50. The 5'8 point guard is a super-skilled floor leader with a real feel for the game and a certain flair to the way she plays. Kaitlyn moves around the floor with ease, can take on defenders one-on-one with a high degree of success, shoots it very well and almost always makes the right play at the right time. That's why she made our All-Freshmen Team for the high school season, the Class A All-State team, and was a first-team All-Tournament selection at State. Although she is a pass-first operator, Kaitlyn can also score the basketball. Her 17-point showing against Mayer Lutheran at State was a gutsy performance. Karleigh's game is a little more subtle. Like her twin she can really handle the basketball, is athletic and energetic, and can definitely shoot it. She defends hard, anticipates well and has good instincts. Karleigh also made the Class A All-Tournament team and was an honorable mention choice for Class A All-State. For all of that she earns the #65 ranking in the Class.

#50 [player_tooltip player_id="453728" first="Ajiem" last="Agwa"] – Austin (Air Minnesota)
Ajiem (photo above) didn't make quite the same type of splash as the Rohloffs during the high school season – at least not until the State Tournament where she had two strong performances – but she has certainly been in the spotlight ever since. The athletic 5'7 point guard has been outstanding on the Prep Girls Hoops Circuit and elsewhere for a strong Air Minnesota squad this spring and summer. She has used her quickness, explosive first step, and blossoming basketball IQ to put up some strong performances. She scores a lot at the rim, but her shooting is vastly improved this year making Ajiem a multi-dimensional threat every time up the court. It is Agwa's defense, however, that may carry her to the next level. With super-quick feet and impressive lateral movement, she can lock down opposing ball handlers on a regular basis. This winter she will no doubt take over from the now-graduated Hope Dudycha (UM-Crookston) as the Packers' floor general, which will be fun to watch.
MORE NEWCOMERS TO WATCH
#61 – [player_tooltip player_id="453729" first="Megan" last="Thorfinnson"] – guard, Minnewaska (West Central United)
West Central United has had a great run on the Prep Girls Hoops Circuit, as well, with the 2025 group showing off excellent team play and an impressive array of prospects, five of whom are now among the Top 100. One big reason for their success is the play of Thorfinnson, a 5'9 guard who has parlayed her length and athleticism into a reputation for playing solid defense game after game with a ton of blocked shots, deflections and steals to show for her efforts. She has also displayed her rather substantial shooting ability that extends beyond the arc. Way beyond! She also has a killer crossover move that generated plenty of buckets off the bounce. Megan's ceiling continues to rise. We think she's destined to play in a scholarship-level program.
#67 – [player_tooltip player_id="453731" first="Haven" last="Fisher"] – guard, Prior Lake (Fury 2025 Premier)
Speaking of length… Haven has plenty. The lanky guard has had a huge growth spurt over the past year. Probably 5 or 6 inches. Last summer she showed us that her skill, athleticism and high-energy demeanor on the court made her a prospect to watch. This year the added length (she's pushing 5'11 now) has made her a weapon at both ends of the playing surface. We wrote about her improvement at the Battle on the Hardwood in Rosemount during week #10 of the AAU season where we saw her quick feet, quick hands and big motor on full display. Haven used to go flat out all the time. Now she has learned the importance of timing and pacing and it has made her much more of a threat. Her shooting is better. Her ball handling, too. It will be interesting to see how new Prior Lake coach Maurice Hodges takes advantage of Haven's tools this winter.
#69 – [player_tooltip player_id="453733" first="Emily" last="Anderson"] – 6'0 forward, Martin County West (Minnesota Rise)
College coaches love length. That's why we write about it so much. That's why players who have it own a distinct advantage over those who don't. Well, Emily certainly has it. This year, though, Anderson has grown into her lanky frame and is playing with much more agility, coordination, finesse and therefore effectiveness. Her mobility has improved. So, too, has her footwork. Emily's monster wingspan is a huge asset for rebounding as well as guarding players away from the basket. She has nice touch around the cylinder, including the ability to finish with either hand. Ryan Hulke's 2025 Minnesota Rise squad has a ton of talent (5 players in the Top 100), and much of the attention is focused up front on #33-ranked [player_tooltip player_id="296522" first="Madelynn" last="Luft"] of Kerkhoven-Murdock-Sunburg. Coaches would be wise not to sleep on Anderson, though, because she is trending upward in a hurry.
#87 – [player_tooltip player_id="453750" first="Addison" last="Post"] – 5'5 guard, Minnesota Stars Post (White Bear Lake)
As important as length is, not all of the newcomers are long and lean and lanky. Athletes such as 5'5 [player_tooltip player_id="453752" first="Aubrey" last="Burkhart"] of Southwest Christian, 5'5 [player_tooltip player_id="422673" first="Ella" last="Mullenbach"] of Minnesota Valley Lutheran, and 5'4 [player_tooltip player_id="417303" first="Kaia" last="Kirkeby"] of Rochester Mayo have all been added to the list. None of the smaller guards has made more of an impact, however, than Post has. The daughter of White Bear Lake coach Jeremy Post made a huge splash at the high school State Tournament, earning honorable mention status for the Class 4A All-Tournament team, a remarkable achievement for a 9th grade floor general leading an underdog squad into the heart of the beast during the biggest week of the season. Addie has continued to show off her substantial skillset, uber-competitive spirit, and ability to execute at a high level throughout the AAU campaign. Her Stars' squad, which now boasts four players in the Top 100, has scored some quality wins. Post's play has been the catalyst for their success.
