[player_tooltip player_id=’248680’ first=’Janiya’ last=’Swift’] 5’7 PG (J Sizzle 2025) - Class of 2027

Swift really played well on Day 1 of Splash. When you realize that she is playing two grades up you realize how special of a talent she is. She was really aggressive on the court and made her presence felt on both ends. Seemed like every loose ball she was mixing it up sometimes even diving on the floor. Swift was good on the offensive end and did defer to her older teammates at times. Defensively she was a ball hawk. She played the the passing lanes and secured several steals in the contest. Swift is very athletic and used that athleticism to get to the rim. She does see the floor well and really makes quick decisions to advance the ball up the court.

Trinity Harris 5’3 PG (Tre Mann 2025) - Class of 2025

Berry was a standout on the court and her ball handling ability and speed on the court was unrivaled. She can really get to the rim in a hurry. Berry had 8 free throw attempts in the first half alone and the defense had no answer for her in the second half either. Berry can really move with the ball and she makes it hard on any team trying to press her.

[player_tooltip player_id=’249436’ first=’Sariah’ last=’Johnson’] 5’9 Wing (J Sizzle 2025) - Class of 2025

Johnson was doing her thing on Day 1 and not forcing it. She was just letting the game come to her then methodically started taking it to the defense. Her ability to get on the blocks and just call for the ball and start cooking after she gets it is just amazing. Once she gets the ball ( with her back to to the basket), she has the ability to get the shot she wants. On Day 1, she was cruising and still had double digits in scoring by the end of the first half.

Ashlyn Young (Tre Mann 2025) - Class of 2026

Young knows how to put the ball in the rim. On Day 1, I looked up and the shooting guard was already in double digits on the scoreboard. Defensively, she is sneaky good as well. Young rebounded well, got a few steals and had a nice blocked shot in transition. Young is special on both ends of the ball.

Jiyah Hamilton 5’1 SG (Tre Mann 2025) - Class of 2025

Really liked how Hamilton let the game come to her. She had a very nice top of the key three pointer and a show stopping spin move in transition. Her offense produced some very good moments, but she was even better on the defensive side of the ball. Hamilton has the speed to slow the opposing guards down. She moves her feet really well and does a good job playing man to man defense. Hamilton also did well handling her responsibilities in the 2-3 zone including denying the entry passes in the middle.

[player_tooltip player_id=’248551’ first=’Alanna’ last=’Tatum’] 5’6 PG (ECU Family 2025) - Class of 2026

Tatum’s knocked down a 3 pointer and also had some nice drives to the basket. As usual Tatum’s defense was solid and on point. She accumulated a few steals and blocked shots from the guard position and really played well on Day 1 of Orlando Splash.
