A three day event (7/24-7/25) held in Denver, Colorado that featured over 100+ AAU teams with 45(!) Collegiate programs in attendance, representing each level – D1, D2, D3, JUCO, NAIA.
Due to issues involving the playing courts, the games were relocated to different locations across the greater Denver area; Resulting in the inability to see as many games as I would have liked. However, I was still able to see many talented players!
CO – Hardwood Elite 17 Gold
#22 Jaclyn Bassett – 5’7” Guard/wing (2023) Lutheran Parker HS
Jaclyn is an all-around player who has good ball handing, active hands, quick feet and a nice jump shot. Bassett moves well very well defensively with good instincts that allow her to gets multiple steals for fast break layups – On one of those fast breaks, she used a textbook jump stop to lose two defenders who went flying into the court dividers hanging baseline.

#20 Emerson Stark Emerson Stark 5'9" | SF Arapahoe | 2024 State CO – 5’8” Guard/Wing (2024) Arapahoe HS
Emerson is an intriguing player who delivers good crisp passes and has proficient ball handling skills. In flashes, Stark showed the ability to get to the basket off the dribble, creating opportunities to score and drop dimes.
CO – NOCO Triple Threat Elite 17 BSAL 23
#2 Kealy Carson – 5’5” Guard (2023) Southeast HS
Kealy is a high energy, fundamentally sound guard who can stretch a defense with her shooting ability; Carson is deadly 3pt shooter from the corners and does an excellent job of following her shot, creating 2nd chance opportunities if and when she misses.

#22 Breena Albrecht-Reed – 6’1” Forward (2023) Regis Jesuit HS
Breena is a big presence down in the paint area who does a good job of getting deep post position. Breena likes to use a drop step which typically results in an AND1.
CO – BC Denver 16
#33 Alexandria Ridenour – 5’10” Wing (2024) Erie HS, CO
Alexandria is a promising player who can play multiple positions thanks to her speed and size. Ridenour seemed comfortable operating in the midrange as she fired away several smooth looking attempts from either side of lane that went in.
CO – Rising Stars 17 Ulmer
#24 Dessirae Ulmer Dessirae Ulmer 6'0" | PF Fountain Fort Carson | 2024 State CO – 6’0” Forward (2023) Fountain Fort Carson HS
Dessirae is a multiple effort player who is physical in the paint. Ulmer is relentless on the glass and is very strong; often coming away with the ball when the opposing team secures a rebound or looks for a tie up.
CO – Lady Roughriders 17 Sagner
#1 Seneya Martinez – 5’8” Guard (2022) Northridge HS
Seneya is an all-around fundamentally sound Guard that plays with good confidence. Martinez passes, rebounds, shoots and defends at a proficient clip making her very dependable,
