Caroline was definitely a player that really stood out to me. She has good length, and can run the floor. She can score by backing players down in the post, cutting to the basket, and she is even showing the potential to stretch the floor from the outside. She is an elite paint protector and shot blocker. She is very active on defense, and plays great help side defense from 2 passes away. This summer Caroline played against high level competition and she proved she can handle what ever the match up is.
The southpaw had a standout summer, playing against high level competition. Deanna is a 6-0 stretch forward. She is a knock down three point shooter, and is a tough player to matchup. She has a smooth shooting stroke, and a quick release. She had many games this summer with multiple three pointer made. She spaces the floor, and bring the opposing teams big away from the paint. She can also attack off the dribble, finish at the rim, and run the floor. She is also a good rebounder. Deanna has the perfect skill set for today’s basketball. Coaches say she is a very good teammate, and very coachable.
The Lefty point guard had a strong summer. She is aggressive and can score through contact. She has the ability to be a scorer, and the skills to get her teammates involved. She is a lefty but showed she can score on the right side as well. She has a high basketball IQ and good court vision. She is a strong built skilled point guard.
Ella was one of the biggest stock riser this summer. She earned invites to many elite camps, and got the attention of a bunch of coaches. She is a stretch player, who has a good mix of an inside out game. She has improved her shot, and can attack from the wing. She rebounds the ball well, and gets good positioning. I’m now seeing her be more aggressive, and playing with confidence. She is showing her potential to her game, and that she is a college level prospect.
Rust had a very strong summer playing on a high level Bay State Jaguars team. She has a good combination of strength, size and skill. She can play bully ball in the post with her size. She has added a bunch of post moves to her game, and has solid fundamentals. She is very good on the boards, and likes to push the ball in transition. She can also score going face up. Rust is a strong physical player, with a lot of potential.
