The girls Top 250 Expo took place Sunday afternoon and had plenty of talent on hand but here are some of the younger players that stood out throughout the day.

[player_tooltip player_id='423967' first='Iliana' last='Greene']- Regis

If [player_tooltip player_id='423967' first='Iliana' last='Greene'] was a bit taller, it is my belief that she would be one of the best prospects in the nation. She has all of the tools to be an elite scoring guard and had them all on display Sunday afternoon. She's a crafty player that gets into the paint forcing help side while she finds the open player. Being one of the shorter players on the court does not matter because Iliana makes her presence known on the defensive end. She locks guards up and is active in the passing lanes.

[player_tooltip player_id='329356' first='Chloe' last='Parker']- ThunderRidge

[player_tooltip player_id='329356' first='Chloe' last='Parker'] is one of the incoming freshmen that will have players on their heels. The 5'8 scoring guard is as fearless as they come. She is a high IQ guard that showed patience and played at her own pace throughout the day. Chloe is attending ThunderRidge and I expect her to give their offense a different look over the next couple of years.

[player_tooltip player_id='495856' first='Grace' last='Stanley']-Legend

[player_tooltip player_id='495856' first='Grace' last='Stanley'] is as pure of a point guard as they come. She seemed to always know how the defense would react and which player would be open once she got into the paint. Last season, she was kind of thrown into the fire as the starting guard, but I think that has helped her game more than anything. Especially as far as scoring goes, she looked to create for herself a lot more than I've seen in past situations.

[player_tooltip player_id='495874' first='Kandice' last='Shepard']-VISTA Peak

[player_tooltip player_id='495874' first='Kandice' last='Shepard'] has the grit that coaches just love to see. She has no problem running through a wall for her teammates if it can help secure a win and that willingness to compete is contagious. She was easily one of the best defenders on the court for the day that was capable of guarding 1-4. She was also great at using her length and athleticism to force bad shots.

[player_tooltip player_id='495865' first='Jade' last='Monroe']- Chaparral

Jada Monroe brings a paint presence that you do see too often. She aggressively controls the glass on both ends of the floor which allowed more possessions for her team. That motor and desire to go after every single rebound is not something we see too often. Jada also showcased the capability to play with her back to the basket as well as face up and score on the block.

[player_tooltip player_id='495825' first='Amya' last='Narducci']- Grandview

[player_tooltip player_id='495825' first='Amya' last='Narducci'] gives a new meaning to the phrase,"hand down, man down." She is as pure of a shooter as they come which makes her so dangerous. Unlike most shooters though, her game expands further than that. She may not be the tallest, but she scored at will in the paint as she finished amongst the trees. Even with her ability to put the ball in the basket, I think an underrated skill of Amya's was the willingness to set teammates up.

[player_tooltip player_id='470966' first='Aaliyah' last='Broadus']- Cherokee Trail

[player_tooltip player_id='470966' first='Aaliyah' last='Broadus'] showed she can play positions 1-4 depending on the match-up. She was too fast for the bigs on the wing, but she was also too big for the guards in the paint. She has an underrated handle that I wouldn't mind her showcasing a little more in transition. At 6'0 she has a a pure looking jumper that took opposing teams a while to adjust to. Going into the year it will be interesting to see how Cherokee Trail uses Aaliyah as she showed that she must be guarded at all times.
