Hadenfeldt, like she often does, proved to be a matchup problem for fourth-ranked Iowa City High went it traveled to Prairie for a late January MVC Valley Division clash. She’s correctly listed as a power forward/small forward on this site. Hadenfeldt can pull slower opponents away from the basket and win or power through them in the paint. If you’re not quick with your feet, she’ll get by you off of the bounce. The Colorado College commitment sees the court well and finds open teammates when the defense focuses on her. Hadenfeldt rebounds well and is a versatile defender. In an upset of the Little Hawks, she posted 15 points and six rebounds.

CR – Prairie had a tough task to kick off this week with having to matchup against last year’s 3A State Champs – Mount Vernon High School. Prairie got the job done and in the end, their anchor did her part, that being PF/SF –

. Hadenfeldt holds down the middle of the floor primary and that’s exactly what she did in this one. She ended up controlling everything going on around her, finishing the game with a team high 18 points (6/13) and 9 rebounds. The second number in that equation is what helped the Hawks pull out this W in the end. It was a 1 point game going into halftime but in the third quarter, Prairie came out with a 19-10 run to take things over going into the fourth. From there, the rest was history.

The highly coveted Brynlie Hadenfedt is off the board to D3 – Colorado College. Colorado College has been on the up and up the past few years at their level and this commitment is only going to make them stronger. Hadenfeldt is a Swiss-army knife type player right now and I think that will be the same at the collegiate level as well. Offensively, she is going to be a force that can punish smaller others underneath or she can step out and attack from the outside off the dribble. Defensively, she can wall up against taller opponents to hold her own or she can stick with someone who might be a little bit smaller. Again, this is a STEAL for Colorado College. If they use her in the right ways, B.H. is going to thrive within their system over the next 4-5 years.

just picked up another offer to stack to her ever-growing pile, this time from Colorado College. Hadenfeldt has that SF skill set with the physicality to match. She is pretty versatile in her efforts. Offensively she can post, move to the midrange, or she can screen on the outside and roll to the hoop after sealing off of the screen. Within a college system, I see Hadenfeldt at a 3/4 depending on the line-up around her. At this point, this is someone with a lot of offers to compete at the next level so I’m sure that she is starting to narrow down her choices to figure out who her top picks are but we will see.

looks back at her high school career as a whole, she should be proud. She had the chance to play with some high end hoopers, competing and making it to the State Tournament this past season. She competes with a competitive AAU program out of

in Des Moines that faces some tough team’s on the road. All while piling up some respectable offers from the next level. Including one from Coe College out of Cedar Rapids last week. That’s more accomplishments than most will be able to look back and say about their career’s on the hardwood. So once everything is over and she realizes that, it’s going to be bittersweet.

is coming off of a respectable weekend with her
Kingdom Hoops
program. Hadenfeldt, a 6’0 SF, can score and defend with the best of them. She is not the tallest at her position but she makes up for it with muscle, smarts, physicality, and ability to adapt. She is also the type to be the first on the floor for a loose ball. Demonstrating her dedication for the love of the game. Hadenfeldt has a handful of offers from the D2, D3, NAIA, and Juco levels already with more to come in the near future.

Hadenfeldt is another player on a talent-laden roster that has what it takes to be a difference-maker for her team. Some of Hadenfeldt’s best attributes are her high IQ, her attitude, and her efficiency. In addition to her 10.8 points per game, Brynlie is a gritty kid who isn’t afraid to hit the floor for loose balls or battle in the paint for rebounds. She finishes at a high rate (43% from the floor), is almost automatic at the free throw line (89%), and gets the job done with rebounds and assists (6.5 and 2.7 respectively). If the Prairie Hawks want to make it to the Promised Land this season, I can hang my hat on Hadenfeldt helping them get there.

CR – Prairie High School has been on the rise this season as they look to make a big push into the Post-season. One of the reasons for their success has been their skilled prospects at every position and their coaching to follow. One of those prospects being PF –

. Hadenfeldt is a PF with a great spin move in the lane, she possesses a calm demeanor, and she has some knowledge of what to do when in key situations of a contest. Over the years this is someone that has been a rising prospect in a lot of aspects. She has always been someone with superior talent for her age and she is really growing into her own as of late. As of most recent, U of Arkansas – Fort Smith has stepped up to offer Hadenfeldt. With a season of AAU ball left, I don’t think she will be committing just yet but this is another great opportunity for her future, if she were to go this route.

did a little bit of everything for the Hawks today and she was so fun to watch. From crashing boards to hitting clutch free-throws, Hadenfeldt made an impact across the floor with her all-out effort. She has a number of tough finishes at the basket including off of a shot fake, a curl cut, a give-and-go, and a lefty side step to ease past a Heelan defender. In addition she had a few strong and-1s to get the crowd on its feet. Hadenfeldt runs the floor well and makes all the hustle plays for her team – she’ll be an x-factor this season for Prairie.

just took a Fall visit to Hillsdale College out of Michigan this past week, eventually receiving an offer before that visit came to a close. This is Hadenfeldt’s biggest offer to date as Hillsdale is a D2 program but I don’t think it’ll be her last. On several occasions I’ve told coaches that Hadenfeldt is a “junk-yard dawg” – type prospect. She has solid size, she is physical in every way imaginable, and she is willing to do ANYTHING for others around her to shine. That’s something everyone loves to see from an outside perspective. No matter if you are recruiting her or even coaching against her.
