Colby seemed like the leader and engine of this West Seattle team. She can score from all three levels, with her aggressiveness in the paint and a confident mid-range and three-point shot. She was always running in transition and putting her body on the line for loose balls, as well as fighting for rebounds. Colby has a ton of talent and should continue to lead West Seattle.

Timmons is in for a big season with the Wildcats and is a bigger guard/wing with a pretty well-rounded game. She has the athleticism to make plays inside, finishing with either hand from either side and displaying some smooth slashing ability to finish around or over defenders inside. She does a good job getting to her spots, can knock shots in from 3-point, and is a key rim defender for her squad.

Colby caught my eye with her length and ability to shoot the three. Her long range shots looked good and she mixed in a nice pull-up jumper. She was all over the rebounds – exactly what my notes said, and runs the floor. She averaged over 8 points and 5.6 rebounds per game last season for West Seattle. She has the talent to be an impact player.

Colby is a tall shooting guard who has the ability to handle the ball like a shorter guard, with her ability to change pace and attack the hoop. She also does her job on the boards, averaging about 5 rebounds per game last season. She’s a dynamic player for West Seattle with all the tools to become even better.

Timmons is a tall, fluid forward who can get close to double-double numbers with her work inside. She averaged 8.2 ppg and 5.6 rpg with West Seattle last season but she really shows the potential to play away from the hoop too. There were multiple instances of her stopping on a dime with the ball, changing direction well, and she has the athleticism to be a pretty dynamic player with the ball.

The first thing I noticed with Colby was her defense. She was all over the place with ball pressure and great help defense. She is a lengthy and versatile player who can run the floor, plays defense, and rebounds. She is a capable scorer with a soft touch extending to the three point line. She made a few threes that looked really good. It wasn’t hard to notice how active she was. She was playing her role on this team well. She does things that don’t show up on the stat sheet, such as ball pressure and help defense that I mentioned. She changes and blocks shots. Just a good overall defender with the ability to work on the block. She can guard anyone on the floor. rn

Colby is a player with great versatility. Her West Seattle team had some talented scorers on the perimeter. She was a glue type player averaging 5 points and 5 rebounds per game. She also added one blocked shot a game. She is a good athlete who can run the floor and is a capable grab and go rebounder. Her 1.5 steals per game speak to her versatility and athleticism. She has a big upside as a talented player with length in the post. A possible rankings riser with the ability to affect the game in multiple ways. rn

Colby provides length with good defense and shot blocking skills. What’s even better is that she is a capable ball handler who can grab and go. Her versatility makes her valuable in all aspects of the game. She didn’t score a lot of points but she was on a state tournament team that had a lot of talented scorers.
