Few kids have the athleticism and motor Davis does. The Aquinas wing can guard one through four and has the athleticism to allow her to rebound the ball well at the D1 level. Davis has slowly improved her perimeter game and gotten better at being a threat on the perimeter. She was the leader of her Wisconsin Flight Elite team last summer, and her teammates followed her lead even when things looked bleak, which speaks a lot about her character.

Her athleticism and motor flashed even when games were over. Davis has no quit in her game, and the mental aspects of her game impressed me because she rose as the leader of that group to keep everyone motivated. She’s a magnetic figure that people seem to love being around. She’s an elite athlete on the perimeter and will be a welcomed addition to a Mid-Major program.

Watching Samantha play against the top Gym Rats team, she stood out to me because of her ability at her size. She is probably closer to 5-11 or 6-0, and she has an athletically strong frame with some length. She is a nice run-and-jump athlete who can get out quickly in transition, attack from the perimeter in the half-court, or even play inside as an undersized ‘4’ in the mid-post and short corners, working at the elbows and along the baseline. She would probably fall in the 10-15 range in Indiana’s 2026 class.
